Surgical Dermatology Group - Birmingham

I went to Dr Gobar today for a skin biopsy. First of all, the lobby is an amazing design that is so relaxing and aesthetically appealing. The office itself was not crowded and pleasant. The two women at the reception area were the most helpful and patient I have encountered. Then dr and her nurse assistant were thorough, friendly but professional, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this practice.

They have the most amazing staff. The front desk lady (I apologize for not catching her name) is so kind to everyone and helped make the sign in process a breeze. I met with Destiny and Dr. Zieman for a minor surgery. They were both were so attentive and professional that it felt like I was the only patient they were seeing that day. Thank you for having such a great team!

The staff is very polite and professional. I have been there twice and have seen 2 different surgeons. Booth were excellent. They took the time to explain the procedure. The follow-up care provided is also excellent.

I was greeted at the door with a great smile. I was then given a tablet to sign in. Once completed I was called back immediately. I was greeted by ZAC, and he also had a cheerful presence. Each and every staff member I meet had an amazing smile. I was greeted by Dr. King, and he too put me at ease before he began my procedure. While waiting for my lab results, I could hear the staff. All I could hear was laughing and giggling. I have never been to any other doctor office where they made me feel that they were happy to see me and assist me all the way through the entire procedure. They checked on me frequently making sure I was ok. I am glad I selected the option of surgery instead of radiation treatment. I gave 5 stars only because there was not the option of 10 stars.

I was able to schedule three appointments for three different people in one day. I didn’t have to wait and be scheduled out for a month. It was very quick. Everyone was extremely nice. Dr. Grober was knowledgeable, kind, great bedside manner, attentive, and efficient. I recommend 100%.

I had my first visit to the Vestavia office. The doctor and nurses were exceptional. They explained everything to me before my procedure. Very professional in every aspect. I received a follow up call that afternoon. I highly recommend this dermatology group!

Reason for visit, a "spot" on my face that needed attention. That staff was friendly and polite. I saw Dr. Kwan, he was excellent! As was his assistant (and student). Was afraid it would just be an "initial" visit. But they, quickly, assessed the problem, cut it off and sent in for biopsy. All while discussing the "whats and whys" of the procedure. Would highly recommend and look forward to using them for many years!
