I rarely leave reviews, but what happened at this doctor’s office was so alarming that I feel obligated to warn others. I showed up seeking medical care and was immediately blindsided at the front desk with a demand for over $200 in cash upfront due to a supposed insurance denial. No prior notice, no attempt to explain, and no effort to help resolve the issue—just a blunt ultimatum: pay or leave. When I explained that I couldn’t afford that unexpected charge, the response was shockingly dismissive. There was zero empathy, zero concern, and absolutely no attempt to provide care or alternatives. I was simply turned away. What makes this even worse is what I discovered afterward. When I contacted the third-party billing department, they confirmed that my primary and secondary insurance setup is completely standard and not unusual in any way. The denial should have been easily clarified internally. Instead of taking a moment to verify the issue with their own billing team, the front office chose to deny care outright. That level of poor communication and incompetence is deeply troubling. This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s dangerous. In a situation where someone is in severe pain or facing a serious medical issue, this kind of negligence could have real, life-altering consequences. A medical office should never operate with this level of indifference to patient well-being. If you value your health, your safety, or being treated with basic human decency, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. Until they completely retrain their front office staff and fix their broken billing process, this practice is a liability to patients. I will not return, and I hope others see this warning before they find themselves in the same position.

I have been going to Dr. Espinosa for a little over a year now. I'm very happy with this office. She is easy to talk to and thorough. Her staff is also very nice.

Had my first visit with Christina, the new pa and she is awesome! Professional, caring and very nice. Jessie got right on my referral and called me in a couple of hours. The entire staff is friendly and works hard to help. So nice to have a whole medical team that cares!

I want to say that Dr Murullo IS AMAZING! My mother went in to see her last week and she treated her with so much respect and she actually listened to her! I also want to applaud Jessy for helping us get this appointment quickly and promptly! as well as her referral! He was so friendly, nice, quick and thorough about it! Great team you have at Edge!! Dr. Mike Zuniga is amazing. I bring my 85-year-old parents to see him, and he consistently takes the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, always making sure all of their questions are answered. His compassion and thoroughness really stand out. The entire office staff is also wonderful—very helpful and responsive. Special thanks to Veronica and Jessica for always being so kind and efficient. Highly recommend this office!
