I received absolutely outstanding service from TMH ER and the ER Observation Unit. In my 40 years of living, I have never experienced such exceptional care from this facility. The staff was attentive, compassionate, and truly took the time to make sure I was comfortable and informed throughout my stay. I also want to specifically recognize the MRI and CT teams. They were professional, patient, and reassuring throughout each procedure. They explained everything clearly and helped ease my anxiety during a very stressful time. Their kindness and calm demeanor made a huge difference in my experience. Every nurse, doctor, and team member treated me with genuine care and respect. What could have been a frightening situation was made much easier because of their dedication and compassion. I am beyond grateful for the level of service I received. I received the utmost care during my visit, from intake to discharge. Every person I encountered was professional, attentive, and compassionate. The PCAs, nurses, doctors, and even the food service team were all very responsive to my needs. I felt listened to, cared for, and treated with respect throughout my stay. I truly appreciate the level of attention and kindness shown to me.

I recently spent a night at TMH and my experience was excellent. The doctors, nursing staff, and everyone else I came in contact with were professional and caring in every way. A special shout out to the nutritional services employees that I encountered. They were so happy to be healing patience through nourishment.

Visit to the ER (12/28/25) We were greeted by Taylor at registration, and our visit was handled by Nurse Angella and later by Dr. Alex Ho — both of whom demonstrated excellent bedside manners. Nurse Angella was very thorough and patient, ensuring my father clearly understood every step of the process. My father is from Jamaica and has a strong dialect, which often leads to communication challenges, but Nurse Angella took her time, explained everything in a way he could understand, and made him feel respected and comfortable. He was able to respond confidently to all her questions because she created a welcoming space for him. Dr. Alex Ho was also exceptionally helpful. He provided valuable information regarding my father’s condition and how best to care for him moving forward. During a previous visit with another doctor, we did not feel the same level of compassion or empathy — especially when I declined admission to TMH. My father recently arrived from Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa devastated the area, including the hospital where he had been receiving care. He is here to receive much-needed treatment, and Dr. Ho showed the understanding and kindness we hoped for. Our interaction with Dr. Ho was brief, but his professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help left a meaningful impact on us. We truly appreciate the care provided. The staff were great charge nurse Shontrell was great on point with what ever my uncle needed. Nurse Austin was phenomenal with my uncle and given us information about my uncle's health. Techs Dymthna, DeAndre, and Alyssa were dynamic. I had and issue with a female at the nurse station that did not take my uncle's situation to me seriously and she didn't know if it was a life or death situation and she kept hanging the phone up on me. Apparently her cell phone was mire important than the patients, which I did report her to the charge nurse (supervisor) and to their supervisor also, just to make sure that it got to the right people because you don't take people's lively hood for granted.

I recently underwent surgery at TMH M.T. Mustian Center. From arrival to departure, I had an excellent experience. Check-in was efficient, the staff very friendly, and the care top-notch. I was highly impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the entire surgical staff, from the surgeon and attending nurses to the anesthesiologist. Communication was very good as well, and I felt all my questions were heard and answered in a timely manner. Five stars for this location!

Dr. Parker performed robotic surgery on me and it was a very positive experience overall. Rapid recovery and the results of the surgery are excellent. The medical and administrative staff were great!
