Stamford Health Medical Group Walk In Center at Long Ridge Road

I scheduled an appointment online for 11:50 am. I also checked in online. I got there at 11:45 and was not taken in by the nurse until 12:30 pm! Why schedule appointments if you are not going to adhere to them? Just stop and be a first come first serve system. Also the doctor said she would call me on Wednesday with my test results. Today is Friday morning and still no phone call.

HORRIBLE experience. They cancelled my appointment without notifying me. But even worse they lied and said they called me until i went through all my phone call record in front of them. No apologies at all. The front desk blamed me for using their broken online booking system instead of calling them to making the appointment. It’s a joke!

I scheduled an appointment before stopping by during a holiday weekend. It was super easy to check in online before I arrived. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I was in and out quickly. I highly recommend this urgent care center.

Everyone here both times I’ve gone has been so helpful and friendly. (I don’t know why the rating is so low.) The wait time is minuscule and the facility is new, clean, and tidy. Everyone is knowledgable and patient yet efficient. Thank you!

I walked in at 8am today and was seen by the Nurse Practitioner 35 minutes later. She had an abundance of clinical experience and explained my diagnosis in full as well as the medication she prescribed. The NP was excellent!! Even though I felt sick, it was a pleasant experience.

If you're sick and need medical assistance, don't use this walk-in clinic. I went for a chronic cough which would keep me up at nights and after they did their exam, which was a Covid-19 and strep throat test, they proscribed 3 medicine which only 2 was covered by insurance. When the pharmacy called the doctor with alternatives, the doctor never bothered to call back. 2 days later, I called and left a message with the receptionist and again, no call back. after 4 days later, I gave up and went to another walk-in center (Port Chester, NY - AFC) where they did a lot better job and got the meds that I needed that same night. & days later, I got a call from Stamford asking if I got my meds?! I didn't know if I should laugh at them or sue them for their incompetency. If you value your health, time and money, STAY AWAY!
