Dr. Fern E. Mayer MD

I have been going to Dr. Meyer for over twenty years for check-ups as I had melanoma on one occasion in the late nineties. Over the years she has corrected small problems with her concern and skill. Last month I was there for a normal visit. She walked into the room took one look at me and decided to take a biopsy of a mark near my eyebrow. I had never noticed the spot and she recognized it in minutes. Turns out it was melanoma ,which has since been removed successfully, thanks to her quick identification. What do you say about a Doctor who literally saved your life with a smile?

This woman is AMAZING. I have struggled with eczema my entire life and have seen numerous dermatologists over the years. Dr. Mayer has been the only dermotologist who ever was able to successfully treat my skin condition. Not only that - she is very attentive, kind and truly takes her time with you. She makes you feel very welcome and as if you are the only patient she has for the day. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I first visited Dr. Mayer for my Rosacea in 2013 and recently (2015) saw her for the same thing and for a skin "check". First, let me tell you how thorough my first visit was - she inquired about family history, my basic health and really took her time to explain things to me. The last visit was also for Rosacea but also I wanted to insure their were no early warning signs for skin cancer as both my parents suffer from it. Again, she was 150% professional while looking me over from scalp to bottom of my feet. She also changed up my meds which have already resulted in much better skin on my face. She is never in a hurry and so far has always offered me samples to try. Go with complete confidence.

Today was my first visit to Dr. Mayor and I was pleasantly surprised by how kind and professional she was. Dr Mayor made sure that I was informed on every step of the procedure which made me feel comfortable. Overall, she was really great and I highly recommend her. I definitely will be back.

Dr. Mayer is truly a great dermatologist. I would recommend her to anyone I know. She is kind and listens and actually helps. Her staff is also so great and nice!
