Dr. Naidorf is extremely nice and thorough but I have had the WORST time dealing with the receptionist in the front desk that handles scheduling/processing of payment. To begin, the day of the appointment I had to wait around 1.5 hours after my appointment time because they were backed up. If they had called ahead of time to tell me that, I would have come in later instead of sitting there twiddling my thumbs for so long. Second, the receptionist is sitting there where everyone can hear her muttering to herself (as she is processing payments, I am assuming) about which person has which insurance ("oh, this lady has Medicaid and this person has blue cross blue shield"), and I thought that was quite strange. Third, they do not take cards but when I first made the appointment, the receptionist only mentioned that they didn't take cards for any copay payments (which made it sound like they don't take cards for the initial payment but you can pay the remaining of the bill later on with one), instead of straight out saying that they have a strictly cash/check policy for everything which doesn't help if you're paying with an HSA card. Third, even though my claim was approved almost immediately after the appointment, I have not received the bill with the remaining balance for the visit. I called around 3 weeks later asking for it, and the receptionist got very snippy with me telling me it was so and so amount like I had received the bill, which she clearly knew I hadn't gotten because I mentioned it at the beginning of the call. This is when I proceeded to ask if I could pay over the phone with my card, and when I was finally informed that I could only pay with cash or check. I asked for the bill to be sent to my house so I could send in the payment through mail (and not have to stop by again) and have record of the bill for the visit, and the receptionist told me very rudely she would as soon as she could. Fast forward another few weeks, I still haven't gotten the bill. I finally stopped by the office to give them a check, and they were closed. I have NEVER had to work so hard for someone to take my money. Their whole system is outdated, and if you don't want the hassle of having to work to pay for your bill, I really recommend you go somewhere else until they decide to update their system.
Dr. Naidorf is thorough and caring. Every healthcare professional I know chooses her for their dermatology check-ups. She makes all of the top-Docs survey because of the well-placed trust people have in her. The receptionist is a lovely woman and part of the experience, in my opinion. Yes, the office only takes checks - when I forgot one year, they billed me. I feel fortunate to be Dr. Naidorf's patient.
I have been going to Dr. Naidorf for over 10 years. She is very thorough and thoughtful. I have had several pre cancerous things that she has taken care of and referred me to another doctor when I needed more intense treatment that she could not provide. She is personable and my whole family (my three children as well as my parents) now go to her. One other thing to note-her mother is the receptionist and while she is sometimes abrupt on the phone because it is a busy office, she is a lovely woman and I love that her mother is employed there too- obviously Dr. Naidorf could have another person, but I think that shows her care of family.
It was a horrendous experience. Well Dr Naidorf is very nice the secretary in the front is extremely elderly cannot hear and cannot follow directions. They also double billed me for services that I already paid for. Be aware that they only deal in cash or check. This is 2021 and nobody deals in cash or checks except if they were going to abscond with your money or double bill you. This is all very suspect
Dr. Naidorf is a terrific dermatologist. I go once yearly for a full body scan and have been through two of these with her. Her approach is very different from other dermatologists. You just feel that you are being very well cared for and that you are in very capable hands. I am about to make an appointment for my daughter to see her. I strongly recommend!
Received an insurance statement for my husband claiming he received a service when we were out of town. He has not been seen here in about ten years but somehow they had his new insurance information (different provider). Called Monday when they were supposed to be open and received answering service...have not had our message returned...strange and fishy.
I have been a patient with her for approximately 40 plus years, love a family business also. Thank you dr.
