Dr. Joel C. Hyman, MD

Dr. Hyman is excellent, his experience and knowledge is apparent. I waited less than 5 minutes, and he explained the issue thoroughly and put my mind at ease that the areas of concern or not cancerous. The procedure was thorough and painless. His staff is friendly and very efficient and the informed me well before the appointment that the issue most likely would not be covered by my insurance, which it was not. But the cost was very reasonable and affordable. I will be going to him regularly and glad there is an office in the Montgomery area now.

Dr. Hyman is an extremely professional and brilliant Dermatologist! He is always very thorough during each visit and answers all my questions. About six years ago, he was recommended to me by a co-worker, and because he is such an excellent Doctor, I continue to see him even though I live about 90 minutes away from his office. It should also be noted that his staff is very courteous and knowledgeable and makes you feel very valued as a patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Hyman and his staff to anyone.

The experience with Dr. Hyman was wonderful, start to finish. We were able to get an appointment fairly easy. The staff was awesome with obtaining information and setting everything up. The wait time in the office was very short and comfortable. The office in Magnolia is beautiful and the exam room was very clean. Dr. Hyman was great with my daughter who was having issues with the skin around her eye for weeks. He was thorough in his exam and immediately prescribed an appropriate medicated lotion which worked perfectly in clearing up the irritated area. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and outcome. I would recommend him to anyone asking for a good Dermatologist.

I moved to Montgomery in May from Cypress, and cannot tell you how happy I’ve been with this decision! Especially considering my main concern was about the quality of medical care that may or may not exist. Finally setting my appointment and seeing Dr. Hyman has proven to me, I had nothing to worry about. Well, I have seen quite a few doctors in this area, this is the first I’ve set for myself. Dr. Hyman has proven in one appointment to be more than capable by diagnosing a previous partially correct diagnosis with a fully correct one quickly, and efficiently, and providing care in such a short amount of time I’m still blown away. The staff at The Woodlands Dermatology is compassionate, helpful, and made me feel right at home! I am so grateful to everyone here, This is the dermatologist and office to see.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hyman for several years now and have always been treated with respect and dignity. His staff is professional, courteous and friendly. I do see him at the Woodlands location, which is sometimes a challenge, as he is only there one day a week. Just plan your visit with plenty of time to allow for that, or, set up a visit in Montgomery if it's urgent. I really like his interactions with me as a patient and feel extremely comfortable asking any questions I may have. I highly recommend Dr. Hyman for your dermatological needs.

Dr. Joel Hyman and Staff at The Woodlands Dermatology, Montgomery Office are the best. Been going to Dr. Hyman for several years with absolutely no complaints. Easy to get an appointment, office wait time is very minimal. My yearly checkup Dr. Hyman is extremely thorough and with others issues he always comes up with a great plan of action to resolve. Would and have recommended Dr. Joel Hyman to family members and friends. If you are looking for a great Dermatologist make an appointment with Dr Hyman you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Hyman is an outstanding dermatologist. He cares for my wife, my mother, myself and some good friends of ours. We all love him. He has two clinics, one in The Woodlands and one in Montgomery. I've been to both and received great care in both places. For my everyday needs, I like the Montgomery location best. It is a laid back clinic with convenient parking and the staff is absolutely outstanding. As a guy who has needed a dermatologist for most of my adult life, I can highly recommend Dr. Hyman.
