Dr. Ronald Rovner

Very disappointed in my visit. Went in for possible fungal nail infection. Looked at me for 2 minutes, said 'that's not it' and walked out. Literally was in the room 3 minutes. Billed me for almost $250. Got my insurance WRONG on the bill. This was not a comprehensive visit but is seems medicare was billed that way. Will be contacting medicare about it if this cannot be resolved. Also made an appointment with the skin care practitioner which required a deposit just for a consult. Then cancelled on me 2 days before appointment. What a horrible and inconsiderate practice. I will go elsewhere.

Dr. Ronald Rovner did a great job doing my surgery and he answered to all the questions I had in an understandable way. Thank you for your professional work. I truly recommend him to everyone who needs dermatological help.

Dr. Rovner was kind, courteous, and quick— which I sincerely appreciate. He is smart, and was able to easily assuage my feelings of anxiety surrounding my issues. I only needed to see him once, but I’ll be keeping his name in mind if I need to visit the derm again.

He seemed uninterested in looking at me for skin cancer. ( I’ve had in past) as a new patient he should have been extremely thorough- he didn’t look at my scalp, ties, feet, etc. I had to purposely show him things but he was very much NOT INTERESTED. I would/ could not recommend him to anyone

Dr Rovner did a quick exam and scheduled me for surgery three week away (with out doing a biopsy) on a possible melanoma that I brought to his attention. He then cancel the surgery date with no new date even after I called several times to see if a college could do the surgery if he couldn't. Finally two months later, I got a biopsy and diagnosis of malignant melanoma, on the patient portal, with no instructions for the next steps. He didn't call the referral surgeon back on time so it was 10 days before I could get an appointment and he hadn't sent the pathology report. Totally incompetent!

Got a letter in the mail that Ronald Rovner is no longer in network and my daughter would need to choose a new provider... I was like uhhhh who is Ronald Rovner?? Looked him up and I barely remember the guy. Never introduced himself, spent probably less than 90 seconds with my daughter and charged $300 for our visit after insurance.... maybe he's just a quiet man and don't want to jump to conclusions but he seemed unhappy and gave don't want to be here vibes. Idk if he's retiring or moving practices but I don't think this is the type of care that gives people confidence. Might work for some if you are ok with extra quick service and minimal/no discussion of your medical needs.

Spent 3 minutes with me yet charged my insurance for a 45 minute comprehensive visit. He barely looked at my skin condition and just started writing prescriptions. So disinterested. He wrote a prescription for something I'd already indicated hadn't worked previously. Do not recommend.
