Khuu Dermatology has truly changed the way I experience psoriasis care and Ive had it for almost 30yrs. From day one, I felt like Dr. Khuu advocated for my proper care of my severe psoariasis. I went through phototherapy with them and eventually they were able to have me on biologic treatment. I wanna thank my nurse practitioner Alan... He explained things clearly, listened with patience and never made me feel rushed or dismissed. The whole team here is compassionate, thorough and the girls in the front desk in both their branches are accommodating in finding a schedule... If you live with psoriasis or a chronic skin condition, you shpuld go to them!

Very competent and fast service for a growth on my son’s neck. It was much faster and efficient than going to a larger place like Pamf.

Beware of Unethical Practices - Not Worth Your Time or Money I am compelled to share my disappointing experience with Dr. Duke Khuu. My interactions with him have been nothing short of disheartening, revealing a pattern of unethical practices that compelled me to find another dermatologist. Firstly, I was coerced into purchasing three of his exclusive skin care products, totaling close to $500. He insisted these products were beneficial to my skin, and in good faith I believed him and purchased these products. Shockingly, these products not only failed to deliver promised results but caused severe irritation to my skin within two weeks. He then instructed me to stop using his skin products immediately for the sever irritation they had made on my skin. When I sought a refund, I was met with outright refusal, with Dr. Khuu claiming his products were non-refundable. This exploitative behavior left me both financially and physically distressed. Furthermore, Dr. Khuu demonstrated a disturbing approach to billing. He insists on charging patients a significant upfront fee for office visits and requires them to sign an agreement acknowledging this charge before submitting the remaining fee to insurance. This strategy, coupled with exorbitant fees, leaves patients with bills insurance won't cover, placing an unnecessary burden on their finances. What became abundantly clear to me during my time with Dr. Khuu is that he views his patients merely as a means to boost his own income. The disregard for ethical treatment, coupled with a profit-centric attitude, tarnishes the integrity of his practice. In conclusion, I strongly caution anyone seeking dermatological care to steer clear of Dr. Khuu and his office in Mountain view and San Jose. His dubious practices and prioritization of financial gains over patient well-being make him an unsuitable choice for anyone seeking genuine, ethical healthcare.

I waited 45 minutes for my 10 minute appointment. 3 other patients went before me despite having appointment times after mine. This is the second appointment that had ridiculously long wait times. Additionally Dr. Khuu made a racial comment and practically ignored and talked over all my concerns regarding my scalp condition. At first I thought it was just the doctor knowing best however now I feel it has something more to do with a prejudice. That said, the nurse practitioner and other nurses were very nice and respectful.

Dr. Khuu and his staff are great. Everybody is really friendly and responsive to patients. I never wait long to be seen. My skin is a lot healthier now that I have been going to his office. He is the first dermatologist that understands how to treat my skin issues.

I believe that Dr. Khuu is the best in the area. I have been to different clinics, and the experience here is far better than anywhere else. He gave me a lot of advice and various methods to treat my skin. Their assistants are skillful, beautiful, and handsome, which gave me a comfortable experience during my treatment. I have completed the whole treatment and the result are far better than I expected. This is a place to go if you are seriously want to improve your skin and facial.

Extremely greedy, unkind and unethical doctor who tries to squeeze out patient wallet to the max. I've been here for multiple skin issues but whenever possible he would try to prolong the course of treatment so that I have to come back for multiple visits. Once I went for keloid treatment and he would treat those on the chest but when i ask for him to treat those on the leg too he said i have to book another appointment for it. Often he would left untreated area on my skin so that i have to come back for treatment multiple times for him to maximize his revenue. i have some lesion on my skin and I have seen him multiple times for it because everytime he only wanted to take out a little bit of it. i spent lots of money but he still left a portion of it on my skin. in the end i gave up and went to another doctor who removes it in one clean shot. Another favorite strategy of his is to make you do unnecessary skin tests so that he can charge more. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I wish i did.
