It’s been a year since I got upper eyelid surgery with Dr. Lay, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. I didn’t have much pain, just some swelling and bruising in the first few days. Stitches came out a week later and the swelling really went down after that. Over the past year, the results have continued to settle in, and they look completely natural. My eyes look more open and refreshed, but not in a way that screams "surgery." It’s subtle, which is exactly what I was going for. Since then, I’ve gone back to Dr. Lay for a few other treatments, including Botox, and Emsculpt. I’ve already referred a few friends to him, and they’ve had great experiences too. What I really appreciate is how approachable he is. If you ever have a question, he’ll actually respond—text, Instagram, whatever. He doesn’t disappear after your surgery, which means a lot. I didn’t experience any real pain, and two weeks after the procedure, I flew to Vegas for EDC and then continued traveling to Seattle and Vancouver without any issues or discomfort. What really sets Dr. Lay apart is how approachable and supportive he is. He’s always open to questions and quick to respond, whether through text or Instagram DM. It never felt like I was bothering him. He truly cares. Since my surgery, I’ve gone back to his clinic for CoolSculpting and Botox, and I’m now considering facial fat grafting with him. I’ve also recommended him to friends. Three have had eyelid surgery with him and loved their results. He’s someone I wholeheartedly trust and would recommend to anyone looking for a doctor who is both highly skilled and genuinely invested in your outcome.
