I actually liked my doctor (Dr Gonzalez), who helped me figure out what was going on with my skin and nails. The main reason I’m taking stars off is because they gave my information to a third party vendor selling skin products and that vendor will NOT STOP CALLING ME. So I’m removing stars for the fact that they share patient contact information with third parties without consent (it’s probably hidden deep within all the disclaimers that they make you sign, but you should still be able to opt in/out). Also, the reviews that say the place is run like a factory are very true—the front desk is very cold.

Prompt appointment. Professional staff. Dr. Evans is talented and great bedside manner.

Claire does an AMAZING hydrafacial. It was such a relaxing, enjoyable experience and my skin was in such great hands.

Impersonal. Dr. Evans was almost distant. The place felt like a conveyor belt. First, the assistant, taking down the details of your various illnesses and medications. Then the doctor sweeps in., M sharp looking gemsis on each finger, barely touches me, shoots liquid nitrogen at my spots from a spray bottle like I’m a plant.. Next time I’m to see a PA. Didn’t much like the experience.

Dr. G was the best. I was super nervous and everyone treated me with care and didn't make me feel embarrassed.

Really clean (very important) and organized office with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Staff have great 'bedside manners'. That is much appreciated when having biopsies and other procedures done. Very responsive on their messaging system.

Dr. Cristian Gonzales was extremely patronizing from start to finish. He didn't listen to my actual concerns/needs (a prescription I've been using for over 5 years that simply needed to be refilled). While he has a similar skin disease and used a different medicine for it (and I confirmed that that medicine physically did NOT work for me), he assumed I did not like it for the same reasons as him (superficial reasons - aka it just made his hair oily). He insisted I use a different prescription instead of the one that I KNOW works for me, even though the one he pushed onto me isn't even approved. I left the appointment unsatisfied. Next I got a $250 bill in the mail even though this provider was in-network. I will not be picking up his prescription, and will be going to a different doctor that actually listens to my verbal and physical needs. The other staff at Pacific Skin were great though.
