Dr. Christy Rainey

Dr. Rainey is now my go-to dermatologist. She is terrific and (miracle of all miracles) usually runs on-time so very minimal wait time. Unlike so many doctors today she actually listens and doesn't ever make you feel hurried.

I did virtual appointments with her because I am mentally disabled, so texting is much easier than talking in person. I had many questions since I am new to the program, but she refused to answer any of them. I was about to get started on accutane, and I was asking a lot of questions because she struggled to provide specific and important details. She ended up getting upset with me, lacking all professionalism and even canceled all treatment with me because she wouldn't answer my questions. She can cause serious issues with your skin by canceling on a person like that, and she should be removed from her position immedeatly. Please find another dermatologist. She lacks professionalism and basic communication skills. Don't waste your time with her. She is a disgrace to her field.

I had a virtual care "visit" with Dr. Rainey via DOC. I notated the symptoms of my issue (rash and swelling on my ears) and what I had tried on the rash to improve it as it requested by the service. Dr. Rainey reviewed my case and diagnosed me with a time traveling rash. You see, in her opinion, my home treatment was the cause of this rash, which is amazing! I’ve never heard of a rash that started after treatment! It must be the first case of a time traveling rash on record! But in all seriousness, I asked how she came to this conclusion and she said it must be the eczema lotion I used that irritated my skin. Seems odd as I didn’t use that lotion until I had the rash, so I asked her to give me an updated diagnosis based upon me clearing up what must have been a miscommunication. No, she still blamed it on my treatment then asked me what else I think may have caused it. -_- If I knew what caused it, don’t you think I’d have said, oh gee, maybe it’s the mystical ear lotion I bought on TicTack? 🙄 It seems the mystery of the time traveling rash will continue…

I just Love the Courteous and Friendly Staff that Dr. Christy Rainey has. I was called back to the exam room almost immediately. Then she thoroughly examined my rash and she told me exactly what it was and prescribed the very best topical ointment. All in less than 20 minutes. And then I was on my way to healing after just 3 days of ointment usage. I'm so Glad I met her and her staff.
