Jiyon Hwang-Ki, M.D.

I totally agree with someone who says one star is even generous for this doctor, Jiyon Hwang -Ki, I want to give her minus -0. She is VERY VERY rude, confrontational, impolite, disrespectful argumentative, and often yelling at patients. Make me wonder if she is a Real Doctor. !!! My Dad was once a patient of her, He complained about the long wait, then she called a police on him, and kicked him out of her office. She also goes to a senior adult care to see mostly elderly Korean patients, while she was in the room seeing a patient, one of the elderly woman got fainted, passed out at the other room, but she, doctor was refused to see the fainted patient, because she was not her patient, so they ended up called 911. A lot of ppl Who saw that situation, got shocked. Now she put a big advertisement about the annual program with an out-of-pocket program .Level 1: essential $ 1800 Level 2 : premium $3000 Make sure you review what they cover each program. Never seen this advertisement before by an internal medicine doctor in our area. In conclusion, on my opinion I personally don't recommend this Doctor .

Do not see this doctor. She treats patients based on her own mood and shows absolutely no responsibility as a medical professional. She is rude, unprofessional, and only cares about making money, not about her patients. She even makes the ridiculous excuse that her low ratings are because patients "don’t listen to her." Is this what a real doctor looks like? Even the staff who answer the phone are disrespectful. They exploit the fact that they speak Korean and have a Korean doctor, nothing more. Someone like her is not qualified to be a doctor in any sense.

Not by choice but because of limited options of health professionals who can speak Korean, my parent meets with Jiyon Hwang-ki. For the past years, she has very rude and disrespectful to my parent such as being very late to the appointment times and rushing through the diagnosis without asking any questions or concerns about her patient. She oftentimes simply just says what she needs to say, repeats a lot of stuff from past appointments and leaves. You can tell she is only doing this for the money. I am leaving this disappointed review not only for my parent but for other older Koreans patients who have been mistreated this way and aren’t able to leave reviews.

Ji Yon Hwang, she is rude and no patience to the customers. The service is poor. She looks like a business man not a doctor. Big mouth. Find another doctor.

This review is long overdue and I’m not sure why she has such a high rating. Very rude and impatient doctor, she doesn’t care much about her patients. My grandparents were patients of this "Doctor" and she ignored issues days leading up to my grandfather’s death. He was also left with an untreated gout for an entire decade—Hwangki (I refuse to call her a Dr) suggested that he drink Gatorade to treat his swollen ankles. I strongly believe she dismisses your fears and doesn’t refer you to someone else for testing— and hope that nothing is seriously wrong . She also misdiagnosed my grandma and prescribed her the wrong medication. She also overprescribes medicine for her patients— most Koreans want to be given what they think is best for them and she pleases her patients by offering this service. Please stay away from her. I do hope she's investigated by the medical board.

I am very pleased with Dr Hwang. Although I am with Dr Lee who is at the same office where I get excellent care. Not everyone will agree with me about Dr Hwang but I know she knows my body better than me. She is truly the best internist that I ever known.

What a doctor she is!!. She tells you what your problems are by listening your symptoms....what a witch doctor. No need to see specialist until your cancer develops stage 4. One of best Korean doctor to pass on. She has a nurse preactioner who does her jobs, it appears that she is retired and collects Dinero. Nurse practitioner is not a doctor, but he does better job than her...haha
