I went in for a fairly simple issue but staff continually tried to upsell for other services. Understand you need to keep an eye on your skin health but they didn't even address the problem I had coming in. Plus they never even took my insurance information so I ended up paying out of pocket for a wasted visit (which I only realized after I left).

Started going to Fariba for skin screening when I realized that my previous dermatologist was not addressing my worrisome skin issues. She has done multiple biopsies and dozens of liquid nitrogen spot treatments. She also recommended blue light treatment which significantly improved my skin tone. I am in much better hands now that I see her regularly. I see her every 3 months and I look forward to her thorough preventative visits. I also think her staff is really friendly and efficient.

I visited the Beach Cities Dermatology Medical Center and was attended to by Fariba. I never write reviews, but she was AMAZING. I've been to other dermatology clinics before due to issues with my acne... she took one look at it and knew exactly what medication and treatment I needed. She was incredibly professional and really knows her stuff. 2 weeks later and my skin is looking the best it's ever looked. A very big THANK YOU FARIBA ! You are amazing! I have been seeing Fariba for dermatology exams and treatments of my skin for many years. She does a very comprehensive skin check for pre-cancerous spots and is focused on preventive measures. When necessary, she will biopsy the skin to assess for possible further treatment. I have also had cosmetic procedures done, usually botox. She takes time to ensure the best result from the injections and truly cares about her patients, their needs, and comfort level. She has also done other spot removals when appropriate. I feel very confident with her experience and expertise and have referred friends and family.

The first thing people see is your face, so it's important for me to have clear skin. I see Dr. Wickwire or NP Farina once or twice a year and see Jenni the esthetician monthly. Jenni is nothin short of amazing. She's friendly and personable and blows any spa style facial you've ever had away. My face always feels rejuvenated and improves. I was suffering from cystic acne and we worked out a plan to reduce the inflammation, bacteria and hyper-pigmentation. With her TLC we've got my skin back to normal and vibrant! Don't walk run as fast as you can to Jenni as often as you can.

This is by far the best Dermatologist experience I have had in 35 years. From the warm welcome, accommodating scheduling, thorough exam, accurate diagnosis, and efficient process, I couldn't ask for a more trustworthy team.
