Plantation Dermatology

I did a Google search looking for a dermatologist and Plantation Dermatology came up with a 4.8 rating. I had my first appointment with them today and can see why they have such a high rating! I was met with a female nurse. I did forget her name, but she was lovely. She asked if I wanted to do a full body scan since it was my first appointment. I opted to do it, but was a tad nervous, because I don't usually feel comfortable with male doctors. They had me strip down to my undergarments and wear the robe front open. Doctor Barilla came in with the female nurse and I felt extremely comfortable with him. He was very nice and professional. The whole thing took less than 10 or 15 minutes. Everything was good and its just recommended that I return every year to ensure nothing shows up. I will definitely be returning and already scheduled my next appointment.

This was such a great experience. The doctor was thorough and made me feel very comfortable and really took the time to answer my questions. He took a biopsy to "make sure" it is nothing and that made me feel heard and safe. I also am not good with needles and the nurses did an amazing job guiding me through. I really thought this was an incredible experience!

The doctor saw me on very short notice even though he had a packed schedule because I had an emergency. Everyone on the staff was great. Dr Barilla was really wonderful and his manner and skill gave me great confidence.

No waiting! Dr.Barilla and his staff are very good. He did a biopsy and I barely felt a thing. He’s helped me by sending medication to a different city since I was leaving that day for a trip. Highly recommend.

Dr. Barilla is great. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explains things so a regular person can understand. He does the MOHS should it be needed which is important. His assistant is very nice, efficient and helpful. His office is extremely well run.

The doctors and staff are truly exceptional. They are professional, caring, and always make sure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Their dedication and kindness make every visit a positive experience. Highly recommended!
