Do not waste your time or money at this place. My husband was in desperate need of Accutane and started his journey here. Later to find out from a second opinion that the dosage they started him with, wasn't going to do a THING. They just ate up our money when we consistently said "hey its not working... can we bump up the dosage?" and consistently got belittled and undermined. Not only this, but the amount of times I came to his appointments for him to just sit and say its not working, the rooms were DISGUSTING! Open needles, scalpels left in the open, vials of blood from the patient before, and when the provider came in she pushed it in the corner as if we didn't see if. Multiple times that happened. Waste of money and disgusting attitudes from the workers.
Accidently thought my appointment was at 10am, Receptionist stated it was at 1, I politely said I'd be back as she stated that they were busy and I was the only one at 1 so it would be better for both. I waited in my room for the Dr til 2pm and decided that if being the first patient after lunch is that far behind on their schedule, I don't want to be at this facility. I left, unannounced
Appointment is scheduled for 1pm. Showed up at 12:45 to find the door locked. Just inside the door is an employee telling me to wait while she finishes her lunch. No note on door stating they close for lunch. I understand that the staff needs time to take lunch but at least put a note on the door and eat your lunch away from the view of patients. My first visit to this office and off to a terrible start. I’m updating my one star to three stars. The dermatologist that treated me was very nice and informative. I do plan on returning, just not around lunch time.
They never phone in your prescriptions and whoever answers the phone in Orlando, FL is clueless. I tried this practice since my GREAT DERMATOLOGIST IN JAX, FL is no longer covered under United Health care as many Dr's are no longer accepting UHC. I was directed to see Dr. Lina Cardona and that is who I requested Never considered the patient. Since I have been a swim instructor for over 46 years, my dermatologist is very important. I would never recommend this practice to anyone as they don't care. Talk over you and Nothing gets done. Very disappointed!
I would not recommend this place. In January f 2025 I received a letter from My insurance provider telling me that they will not be approving my taltz anymore, I came into the office and gave them a copy of the letter they sent me and I asked them if they can reach out to my provider to see of they can get it approved. It has been over 1 month now, and I have not heard back from them, i went to the office to see if, I could get a sample of Taltz and each time I go they tell me the Rep has not showed up. I'm so frusted right now, that I'm going to go to another dermatologist. I'm not happy with the way I have been treated.
This place is stuck in 1982. They will not do anything digitally including lab orders which has now left us in an endless loop of issues with no resolution in sight. My son was switched to the Ormond location and they don't seem to be any better with their lack of communication.
It really is a shame when the people running your desk are so unbelievably rude individuals. I was really suffering with an allergic rash from antibiotics. I had just seen my caregiver a few days previously and I was hoping she could just look at me and they said she was double booked. So I showed them my legs and they laughed. I couldn't believe it so I said" You think this is funny?" They continued to laugh. So my question is this...If I had Skin Cancer. Would they find that funny? If I had disfiguring Acne. Would they think that funny? Why are these individuals still running your practice? Your going to lose patients. Like me and my husband and my son.
