Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery

This was my first time ever seeing a dermatologist and Dr. Shaunte Wilks was amazing along with the whole staff at Advanced Dermatology. My wait time was minimal despite the lobby being busy and check in and check out was seamless and easy. Dr. Shaunte Wilks is a burst of positive energy when she entered my examine room. She was upfront, honest, thorough, informative, detailed, and caring when it came to her approach to my treatment. Which I greatly appreciate as someone with ADHD. Her nurs, Kay was just as kind and attentive to my concerns and treatment. I’m super grateful I found this office and Dr. Shaunte Wilks and her team. Hands down best experience I’ve had visiting a doctor’s office.

I had an early-morning appointment with Dr. Dominguez, and it went great — he was very kind, attentive, and thorough. Unfortunately, everything fell apart afterward. The prescription was sent through a company called Tandem for insurance approval, and that company is painfully slow. I called them the next day to check the status of my prescription, and they told me they were still preparing the request for the insurance. An entire day passed and no one submitted anything. A week later, I still don’t have my medication. The doctor is great, but the setup is not. Until they fix this, I can’t recommend this office.

I have been going to Shaunte over 3 years now and recommend her to all my family and friends. She is so knowledgeable and is very passionate about dermatology. She has helped break some myths about skin and hair routines for me and how I need to care for my daughter. The office staff is also friendly and professional. There is a wait time when busy. Parking is a challenge and definitely arrive on time but I can’t say I have had a bad experience.

Excellent dermatology office. They went above and beyond by working with my schedule and being able to come in early for my appointment. All of my questions were answered clearly, and the staff was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the entire visit. I would absolutely recommend them!

I never write reviews but this service was so detrimental, and horrible people need to know. They are money chasers- they didn't get my full consent, didn't explain the additional and UNNECESSARY biopsy (because increases their charges/ billable amount). Horrible experience. Additionally, they lied when they said the biopsy would not damage my ski. I was going there for health check up and to fix my skin, but they mutilated my body. Furthermore, they're trying to send even more additional billing, even though I paid at check out. With insurance, there are sometimes additional charges as I understand since I've worked in medical offices. But over $1,200 of charges for a 10-20 minute exam.... and for a biopsy that I did not want nor was suspicious of the mole.

I have found this office to be very efficient with my time. The staff is cheerful and knowledgeable. Waiting area is clean and comfortable. Procedures have been well executed. I highly recommend.

My first time over there. The staff welcomed me warmly. The provider and her assistant were very helpful. Amazing place to see a dermatologist!!!
