I find it hard to articulate the magnitude of support, ease, and care I’ve received at Kokoro clinic in the simplicity of strung together words. When I arrived at my first appointment, I was in a time of deep destabilization from trauma and ptsd. The beautifully curated space felt like warmth and ease on my exhausted nervous system and the way Wanda welcomed and held by authentic existence felt like a soft place to land when I didn’t have much of this in my life. I’ve been seeing Wanda consistently for a few months now and I cannot recommend her services enough. She feels like the auntie I’ve always wished I had. Her approach to healing is maternal, intuitive, and so incredibly warm. Wanda has always created space for the depths of my experience and has offered presence and attentiveness during all of our interactions. What she offers is a gift and I’m so thankful to have crossed paths with her. Not only has she helped me heal on a mind, body, soul level, she has also helped me feel empowered as a sovereign individual in my own healing process. I am eternally grateful

Wanda at Kokoro Clinic has been a great source of healing support for me. I’m glad I integrated acupuncture treatment as part of my healing triage. I’ve been receiving network chiropractic entrainments for a few years and acupuncture has helped to promote its healing effects. I’ve experienced significant shifts, and as traumas release there is a period when integration time is critical. Acupuncture treatment with Wanda, who is familiar with network treatment, has been an essential part of integration. Sometimes it takes a few days to feel completely integrated and sometimes longer. Acupuncture has supported that process, often easing the flow of energy through my body and sometimes releasing stuck energy allowing release of trauma to take its full course. I am forever grateful that a flyer brought me to Wanda and Kokoro Clinic. I was experiencing numbness in my foot due to an old car accident injury, was given a flyer for Kokoro Clinic, and called Wanda for community acupuncture. The thing I liked about my initial phone call was that Wanda directed me towards another community acupuncture clinic (as she had stopped offering the service) and did not press me to come see her. I ended up calling her back the next day and making an appointment. Kokoro Clinic does not take insurance and I initially hesitated to book because of this. I am extremely glad that I did end up booking, and I will continue to receive treatment here. Wanda is top notch and certainly well worth the cost. What sets Wanda apart from other acupuncturists I've seen is her thorough approach. She took the time to dive deep into my health history, asked follow up questions, and, most importantly, listened to me! Her initial intake uncovered a lot of different issues in addition to the numbness in my foot. I have never had a health practitioner care so deeply about all aspects of my health (physical, mental, emotional) and her empathy really stood out to me. As my care is more complex, Wanda had a few referrals for me and they have been healing my mind, body, and soul in addition to Wanda's treatments. The clinic itself is immediately calming when you walk in and Wanda has a soothing presence that adds to the ambiance. There are cubbies for your shoes and you receive treatment in 1 of 2 private rooms in the clinic. Kokoro Clinic is more than just a healthcare facility; it is a sanctuary for those seeking genuine healing and compassionate care. Wanda is a truly gifted acupuncturist !!! I have been to several acupuncturists before but I honestly never felt that much different. This was not the case with Wanda. Every time I go in for a treatment I feel like I have more energy and that my body is healing. I started seeing Wanda for some low back pain and digestive issues. I have never really had low back pain before and I had tried other modalities to relieve it. It was not until I started seeing Wanda that I began to see results. My low back pain is nearly completely resolved and I have Wanda to thank for that. For anyone that is skeptical or nervous, just give her a call.The second you meet her you will instantly feel comfortable and know that you are in good hands. She is really good at communicating during the process and she is super gentle as well. Seriously!! You will love her!

Wanda is by far the best acupuncturist I've ever had the pleasure of working with. In fact, I think she may be the best health care practitioner I've ever worked with. I happened upon her when I was nursing torn tendons in my ankle. She was gentle and caring in her treatment of my acute injury. She brought me relief from pain and from the stress of the injury. From there, she treated me successfully for pneumonia, sciatica, dental procedures and chronic muscle tightness. After every appointment, I made significant progress. Wanda is compassionate, brilliant and a wonderful person. I recommend her without hesitation.

I have worked with a lot of different acupuncturists in my life, starting when I was 10yrs old. I can honestly say, Wanda is unique. There are so many things she has helped me with, but what really blew me away was the most recent miracle she worked: I had been having low back pain for about 2 weeks. I am a personal trainer and mobility specialist, so I pride myself on taking good care of my body and staying out of pain. None of my usual tricks were able to resolve this issue. Exasperated, I went to the chiropractor. I got a massage. Finally I went to see Wanda for a routine monthly session, and through her thorough questioning, we discovered that my pain was stemming from my liver! Who knew. Within one treatment, my symptoms were 80% resolved. I've been receiving acupuncture from Wanda in her Kokoro Clinic for over a year now. I keep coming back because she keeps fixing me on all my various aches, pains, and health difficulties. I originally started working with Wanda because of a stiff hamstring muscle. Wanda is not only a gifted acupuncturist but she's also trained in trigger point therapy where she can use acupuncture to fix muscles that aren't firing correctly. Doing this, she was able to support me in my healing process, and I am more flexible and mobile than I have been in years! I later brought up this chronic skin issue I've been struggling with for years. And lo and behold, after some time, Wanda was able to help me find some relief! My skin has never been brighter! And THEN... later, we started working on repairing my adrenals and fixing my chronic insomnia issues. And guess what? Thanks to Wanda, I can fall asleep so much easier! And AGAIN, I came back and saw Wanda because of some digestion issues. Sure enough, not long after working with Wanda, I can already see improvements in my digestion! I can go on and on, but in short, I have to say Wanda is an all-round healer. She has this maternal energy that makes you feel so cared for and loved.
