I rarely leave reviews but Dr.Rockley is truly amazing. In the past year I went to 4 different dermatologist and plastic surgeons to remove keloids on my ear. Finally after a year, I was recommended Dr.Rockley from a hairstylist who had the same keloids as me in the past. The procedure took him about 20 minutes and I didn’t feel anything. Even a week after the procedure I am still pain free. It is healing perfectly with the help of the after care Dr.Rockley provided and I am excited to see my progress. Thank you so much.
It was a bad experience. The waiting room was dirty and gross. I was on time and waited for a half hour past my appointment. It was going to be at just at least another hour to be seen as there were 10 other patients waiting to get seen and not one was admitted. Doctors should respect people's time. I watched as the doctor tried to fix the fax machine while everyone was waiting. He may or may not be a good doctor, I can't say because I never got to see him.
Our recent visit with this dermatologist was extremely disappointing. From the moment he entered the room, he did not greet me, my husband, or our 4-year-old son (who was the patient). There was no introduction, just a cold and rushed demeanor. He immediately told us to have our son lie on the table and instructed me, his mother, to help hold him down during the procedure, despite me wearing a brace and clearly recovering from spinal surgery. Not once did he ask about my condition or consider asking one of the nurses for assistance. In fact, one of the nurses had her head down on the desk when we arrived, which was unsettling in itself. My son was being treated for a wart, and as soon as he began to understandably squirm and kick (as any scared 4-year-old would during a freezing procedure), the doctor gave up almost immediately. He even went so far as to call my son "dangerous" and prescribed over-the-counter corn removers instead..an inappropriate recommendation for a wart on a young child. This doctor showed no patience, no empathy, and absolutely no indication that he is comfortable working with children. If you are a parent, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. This was by far the worst medical experience we've had!
I honestly have no words to thank Dr. Rockley. His care, professionalism, and kindness completely changed my life. He took the time to listen, to understand, and to treat me as a person, not just a patient. Thanks to him, I got my joy and confidence back — he truly gave me my life back.
I’ve been going to Dr Rockley for 22 years and it’s always a great experience and he always has the cure for everything! The wait may be a little long but it’s because he’s worth it! So many people come to see him from all over the world because he’s one of the best. I hope he never retires! -A.Tesini
Dr. Rockley is rude and arrogant. It's like he can't be bothered to treat you or listen and answer any questions about your condition. He actually said to me "What are you looking for? PERFECTION? about a skin problem on my back. He dismissed all my concerns. He wouldn't even tell me what the diagnosis was, even with me asking 3 times in a row. His assistant or nurse was also rude in telling me that since I had been given a paper prescription, I couldn't get it sent to the pharmacy electronically. She was so strange asking me questions like "Do you know him? (meaning Dr.Rockley) and arguing with me about me having to go to the pharmacy with the paper prescription and then either wait or go back later again when I have no transportation creating for me a hardship which I shouldn't even had to explain. Finally, after the interrogation about if I know the doctor and where and how do I know him was over, she wouldn't stop speaking over me, so she was actually stopping me and interrupting me asking where the pharmacy location was at the same time I was trying to give it to her. lol. Beware this place-they're just too weird. I wouldn't let Dr. Rockley put a bandaid on me.
I have been going to Dr Rockley for years. He was referred to me by a friend and I haven't been disappointed with his care.He listens and then offers you the best possible available and reasonable (if possible) too. He also try to stay inform with all the new advancement and technology in the skin and beauty care for all skin/color type. It will be hard for me when he retires but not for a long time to come.
