EVMS Dermatology

Great initial visit but absolute horror getting a follow up....even after the Dr. assured me that her team would be in contact with that follow up instructions. After 90 days stillno action. Multiple inquiries to her team has yet to provide any instruction on the follow up she spoke of. This must truly be a training ground with little focus on seeing their initial diagnosis to fruition. Would not recommend EVMS Dermotogy if you need satisfaction. I will bet 3 to 1 this will not be posted on their message board,it's their "motis operande".. Shop elsewhere.

Maura G Simokaitis 5/5 stars!!! The sweetest person and greatest dermatologist I’ve ever had. She eased my concerns with her friendly tone, felt like I was speaking to a friend. All the parts of seeing the dermatologist that would have you anxious, she heals straight away. If I had the choice she would be my dermatologist for life ❤️ Highly recommend!!! She alone keeps me coming back to this location 😁

If I could put no stars I would. Terrible patient/doctor connection. Forget trying to call this place because they will not pick up. Left 5+ voicemails in regards to getting my medication approved by insurance and it getting denied twice. Denied because this office never sent my medical records to my insurance regarding said medicine. The doctor I was seeing (Dr. Dyson) (NEVER MET HER in the three visits I had with this facility.) left me a voicemail saying that my appointment is now automatically canceled due to Dyson changing her availability to ONLY WEDNESDAYS. Never visit this facility if you want actual health care and treatment. 0/5 ⭐️

Terrible service. My daughter has been suffering with a condition. We tried to get her refill from pharmacy. Told no refills. The Dr is no longer with EVMS. EVMS never told us this. Tried for almost two weeks to get the prescription. The office manager is rude and said we would have to come in to see a different provider. I said no we will go somewhere else. She tried to say that she'd ask another Dr. after the fact that we already have been waiting. They don't care and she let me know that today. Don't go here. Not what they were at all.

I can’t say enough of how grateful I am for the staff at EVMS dermatology. I was able to get into their office in just a couple of days for my 93 year old mother. I have been getting the run around with her PCP and other offices had a 6 month wait before they would even see her, even when her issue was urgent. From the front desk, to the nurses and doctors, we were treated with kindness and respect and I thank them so much for taking such good care of my mom.

Dr. Hoffman and her team at EVMS Dermatology are absolutely exceptional! Their commitment to patient care is evident in every interaction. They provide top-rated customer service in the Hampton Roads area, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Dr. Hoffman and her team work tirelessly to ensure all your questions are answered and that you have all the information you need. They are incredibly responsive, compassionate, and truly take the time to listen. I felt heard and valued as a patient. The entire team is professional, friendly, and efficient, making every visit a positive experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Hoffman and the EVMS Dermatology team and look forward to continuing my care with them.

Very friendly. The receptionist was happy and even accommodated another patient with their immobility. My nurse was very personable and even took notice to the book I was reading while in the waiting room. Dr. Josue Droz was amazing! He explained everything and made it very comfortable.
