MD Claiborne Dermatology: Uptown New Orleans

Though Dr. Claiborne is great, the receptionists lack urgency. As a patient for over a year, and many visits you would expect much better service and not have to wait 3 weeks for an appointment.

Dr. Cole Claiborne is an excellent doctor. He takes time to listen to your concerns and offers his medical advice in a clear and concise manner. He is honest and trustworthy and does not try to sell you anything that you don't need. I highly recommended Dr. Claiborne.

Best dermatologist office! I struggled with Ochsner first but was fortunately recommended Dr. Claiborne by a coworker and haven’t looked back since. That was 15 years ago. Dr. Claiborne has so much knowledge and experience, he is kind, gentle and very efficient. Bonus, they have an esthetician in house that can provide additional services.

I don’t know how this office has five stars - they must have paid the patients or given them free products for a positive review because the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional to say the least. Upon arrival I was not greeted. Casey, Bonnie and the other front desk person was not pleasant. This office does not verify insurance prior to the appt which is senseless and would avoid patients being turned away. The staff was not friendly and took pride in telling me I could not be seen. DO NOT visit this office - you will be judged, stereotyped and treated poorly because of your skin tone. I have worked in the medical field and this is not how you treat anyone. I was spoken to in a condescending tone, yelled at and hung up on. It seems as if Dr. Claiborne and the other physicians and staff are aware of this behavior which seems to be acceptable - this facility should be embarrassed-WARNING VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

I have to say I am very impressed with MD Claiborne & Associates. My last experience at a dermatologist was not very pleasant. I went in with three different concerns and i felt that she just kind of blew them off. When speaking to Dr. Claiborne I was very surprised when i presented the same three concerns to him and he listened, and had solutions for every one. I was over the moon! The few things have been bothering me and i wanted to get them resolved for the past two years, but was dreading to find another doctor. I can't say enough about how pleased i am with my experience here. The staff is professional and super nice. Dr. Claiborne was straight forth and knowledgeable.. I was pretty nervous to have some of the procedures done, and he was very patient with me and calmed me down. Very thankful I found them!
