HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If youu need an excellent Dermatologist, please continue reading.... Dr. Nelson and staff have helped me several times. The work I needed done required multiple visits over the course of a few months. Each time, he was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, compassionate and respectful. In addition to their professionalism, his staff (especially Jamie) provided a warm & caring environmnet which made me comfortable during the procedures. I'm more than satisfied with the results from this group. Thank You, Dr. Nelson and team.
Dr Nelson and Dr Starling and their staff have always been friendly and professional. Dr Nelson and Dr Starling have done a great job taking care of me and my husband. Dr Nelson was also able to help my sister this week. She had a brown recluse spider bite and had been to two urgent care clinics with little help. Dr Nelson recognized immediately her issue and knew exactly what to do and gave her the care she needed. Thank you so much. I’d recommend this clinic to anyone needing care.
There are certain things in this world that are or should be unacceptable. After following all their rules and protocols for a scheduled appointment, it is unacceptable to have to wait for over an hour after the scheduled time. I had an appointment with Dr. Reynolds. While waiting in the waiting area I saw at least two pharmaceutical sales people invited back, among other patients. When I was finally called back about 30 minutes after my appointment time, I was asked to undress and sit under a paper like sheet. I sat there for another 30 minutes or so in that state. I finally had enough. Got dressed and walked out.
Worse with communication. Would not recommend. I’ve left several voicemails and attempted to call both locations without a call back. I have now missed two of my doses of medication and will likely have to start my medication over. It’s been a month since my medication was suppose to be called into a pharmacy.
I had to wait until I calmed down to post a review. In January 2025 I visited the office. I was upset due to a family matter, but I thought I could hide it. As usual, the older women at the front desk were dismissive and I spoke with them about my secondary insurance and we went around about that. I paid my co-pay for primary insurance and sat to wait. Every time I see the dr he treats me as if I'm new, "Hello, I'm Dr. Nelson, what can I do for you?" I've seen him several times. I'm I that forgettable with my copper-colored coily hair? Anyway, this particular day I thought my emotions were under control, but no, I started to cry because of an upsetting family situation. Not loudly, just tears. He asked me if I was safe and I answered positively. The young nursing student was so kind. We went on with the appointment and I decided to discontinue with the treatments. Maybe that made him mad, I don't know. I left the room and proceeded to the front desk. They gave me a refund due to my secondary insurance. Fast forward to April 2025. I called to make an appointment and was informed "I could not because they don't take my secondary insurance." I said "No problem go back to the way it was previously, I'm good for the co-pay." I was told I couldn't because they already know about it. What!? Called my insurance company and they said that wasn't true, all I had to do was pay my co-pay for the primary insurance, that was fine. If the office didn't want to see me again for the January "incident", or anything else why lie and call it something else. Meanwhile, life is good, I'm happy and will never recommend this dr office. Decide for yourself🌺
Don’t plan on being able to pick up a prescription the same day. When the pharmacy didn’t receive the prescription, I was told they would send in the prescription by end of day when I was already waiting at the pharmacy to pick it up. All the person answering the phones could do would be to send a message to the nurses. Zero urgency. They are a "small office" after all so not much she can do. Her words.
The staff is amazing! The front desk staff is efficient and friendly, the nurses are incredible listeners, and the doctor was gentle and answered all of my questions. The turn around time for prescriptions is impressively fast. Don't forget to fill out your new patient paperwork online! I will admit, the wait time to be called into a room was long, about 30 minutes after my appointment time. I'm not sure if that was only my experience, but once I was in a room, I didn't have to wait long for a nurse, or for the doctor!
