MUSC Health Cosmetic Dermatology at East Cooper Medical Pavilion

It feels as if MUSC takes hold of you and don't let you go. They medicate you on all these drugs that just don't work. I will always remember, they looked me dead in the eyes and and "You will never get better. This is your way of life for now on." This was told me me when I suggested maybe it was my gut that was causing the issues. They blantly laughed in my face as if I had no clue. THAT drove my will power to focus on my gut healing and my skin completely cleared up. DONT let these doctors tell you that you will always be sick It's their tactic to keep you under wraps and under their care. My last visit he walked in, went straight to the compute suggested a new medication and had his student wrap it up. He didn't check my skin, ask me questions, or anything. I drove 2 hours just for a 5 min checkup. I told them do not give me anything that Will affect my eyes. What did he do? Prescribed something that would affect my eyes. Carelessness, fear tactics, and proof time after time treating patients as guinea pigs. Take control of your life and DO NOT let them tell you that you have no chance in being well again.

I scheduled an appointment to have a few freckles/moles checked. The check-in process was very easy and the assistant was very nice. Two Dr.‘s reviewed my concerns before letting me leave. Very pleased with this appointment & would recommend.

It took me three months to get an appointment. I waited an hour and a half in the waiting room, and when they brought me into a room told me I was going to see a different doctor than who I’d scheduled with. Then I waited another 20 minutes and finally left without seeing anyone. If they are so inconsiderate of patients’ time, I’d rather go literally anywhere else.

Dr.A and her staff are the best! They made me feel so comfortable and welcome, and answered all my questions! Thanks!
