I'm giving 5 stars because the nurse was nice and so was the doctor. She took her time and asked questions and listened. When we walked in, there were 25 people in the waiting area. We signed in and filled out new patient info. Our appointment time was 12:15 pm. It is about 1:50 pm and we are still waiting!!! Asked the receptionist if she's done with my drivers license and insurance card, and she said no, not yet...... we finally got into room around 1:54pm. Met Doctor very nice shook my hand, very loved his response when I asked how he was doing as well. He said living good loving life! I'm going to have to start using that.

I have always loved Doctor Mackey, he's always kind and personable. He's helped me with past issues concerning my skin. I haven't been to his office in a while. My biggest issue was the receptionist and staff, once I checked in I was called to the window, I filled out forms for updated address and so forth. Now keep in mind they ask over the phone why are you being seen. Then she asked me again at the front desk where every one could hear who was waiting ear shot in the lobby. I was mortified to say the least and I just sat in my chair full of shame. Once I was in the back, the nurse told me what I was doing wrong before the doctor even came in. Doc came in so kind and compassionate, I felt at ease. I wish the nurse would have left. Once I was examined, I was told to take my time getting myself together. When I opened the door there was another nurse standing staring at me. I thought maybe I was thinking too much of it. But she watched me leave out the side exit. I didn't go back because of his team. But I'll go back but it'll be at his Prattville office. He's been my dermatologist for several years. I wish I'd told him when it all happened a year ago. I was just too embarrassed. I did visit another dermatologist for this particular diagnosis and found out it was an autoimmune disease, nothing I was doing wrong.

Best Derm in town! While the wait might be a little long , it gives me the chance to catch up on other things. Besides, what dr’s office does anyone ever truly go back at their appointment time? But when it comes to medical problems, he truly is very knowledgeable and if he isn’t available, his NP Dena Yearwood is just as amazing! His cosmetic side, with Mrs Melissa, couldn’t be better! She always steers me in the right direction for what’s best for my skin and it’s never looked better! Never disappointed. Even though they are a smaller staff compared to other dr’s offices, they are still efficient in their work and are willing to work with any issue I have. Highly recommend!

Best heath providers around! You cannot find any better people than Dr Mackey and his team! Caring, attentive, and so easy to talk to. I wish all my other doctors’ offices were like Dr Mackey’s!

Had a 1015 appointment. arrived at 10, filled out the paperwork (new patient). Office was crowded so I was worried. Called me back at 1055. I was walking out at 1110. I went in for a spot I was worried about/wanted removed. Dr. Mackey had a pleasant demeanor, was competent and efficient. Diagnosed the spot, froze it off and I was on my way. While I hope I wont need his services again I wont hesitate to use him.

I Love Dr. Macky, he is very soft spoken and listens to my concerns. Melissa is the best, I always see her when I have my head and lip filler touch ups. Dr. Macky's lip fillers look natural with the volume I like. I recommend this office.

So disappointing! Waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room full of people, only to be told it would be another hour. What! It’s beyond disrespectful and unprofessional to have patients wait over 2 hours for an appointment they waited MONTHS for. Most importantly I feel bad for the people like myself that wasted half a day of work and pay to be shoved in a room waiting on doctors who over book themselves.
