I see one of their best dermatologists. When I am in their office, staff is wonderful, office is clean and beautiful and everything is professional. I am very confident of the great doctor I see. However, they are a big company and when you call via phone, it automated and international. You always have to wait a while and call yourself for test results. Nothing is immediate, no matter what the result is. Seems like that is the way things are these days. Medical customer service should not be international or automated, ever.
Place has absolutely fell apart professionally when they switched over. Had a provider named Taylor she's a pa-c call today. Completely unprofessional and unorganized. Ive been going to this place since I was a teen for psoriasis. Anyways I called (call center picks up) because i had a rash on my back & told them I need to see my dermatologist... they said the dermatologist are all booked up for a yr i would need to see a allergist...I see a allergist she tells me she is unsure what my rash is i need to see a dermatologist...I make an apt they give me Taylor (whom is not a dermatologist) she tells me looks irrated like im allergic to something to try different soap /laundry detergent. I informed her I used the same things for yrs. She told me use a cream if its STILL there come back in 6 weeks. The rash went away maybe due to stress because I changed no products ..anyways I did not make appointment because she said if it clearned there was no need. Anyways I call the call center to get a refill on a script for my psoriasis ..because my pharmacy had been calling and I and no one ever got back to me. I finally called a 4x the call center tells me I wont get a refill on a script since its been almost a yr (keep in mind has not been a full yr) and I have a appointments for Feb(with a dermatologist) ..March would make a yr. Anyways finally the office calls its Taylor letting me know she would not refill my script because I never came back in 6 weeks ( umm again she said if its gone no need to come back and because I have not been to the office in almost a yr. ..and I need to come yearly to get my scripts refilled...again I was last seen in March and I have an appointment in Feb so no tech speaking it hasn't been a yr & unfortunately skin psoriasis is for life so ofcourse I'll need a refill ... and im still withing timely to get a refill. Anways she called to tell she will not refill my script because the above reasons. She has no care for my situation* cracked and bleeding and told me to use over the counter stuff until my appointment which is completely unprofessional. Hun please go back to school no over the counter psoriasis medication should be placed on open /cracked wounds. Please find a new place as they use to be good. There are very few who work here and are caring. Tbh it sounds like the call center , front desk and providers need a better system and communication. Avoid Taylor for sure. I also want to point how I came the 1st time paid a co pay for nothing. I 1st called for a dermatologist since i already know i have psoriasis they booked me with.. the allergist .... allergist told me I need see a dermatologist .. then they schedule me with someone who's not and then she tells me looks like a allergic reaction/irritation to a product...make it make sense ?! And no way should a pharmacy have to call over and over get no response then call me to call and I get no response after being promised within 2hrs id get a call back ...then days later I call in and the call center just tells me they said no because they want me in office again. $$$$$
Every one were very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Very professional setting. They do not overlook so there is no waiting, which I appreciate very much.
I have been seeing doctor Fried for years. I first met her when I went with my son. She has always seemed like one of those doctors that really cares, which often doesn't seem to be the case anymore. She has helped my family with everything from teenage acne to precancerous lesions, and we have always felt like we were in good hands.
Dr. Jebediah and his staff were so friendly And yeah, very professional. We had a great experience. I wish she was my primary doctor. I would definitely recommend this practice.
Scheduled an appointment not only with a specific MD, but I specifically requested a female MD. All of my appt notifications list this female MD as who I’m seeing. I get there and I’m taken back by a male PA. I ask what’s going on, tell him the situation, and I’m told "that’s weird". I’m there for two reasons. He checks with MD I’m supposed to see and she can’t see me. I’m then told he can do this appt for the one issue, and then I can schedule to come back for my skin check with a female, and they won’t charge me a copay again. This is extremely inconvenient in general, but if I don’t have to pay again, I can make that work. Otherwise, I said I would just go ahead and do the skin check with him. PA says he’ll walk up with me after to make sure it’s noted that I’m not charged my copay to come back. I do the appt for the one issue and we go to leave, but he’s not coming with me. I ask if he’s coming to tell them not to charge the copay for the return. He said no, he just saw me and coded the appointment a certain way? Then proceeds to claim he said the no copay would have been if I wasn’t seen at all today and scheduled to come back. That is NOT what he explained. I even specifically stated I would just do the skin check today because it would be unfair to make me come back and pay again for their mistake. Why would I need his help not being charged next time if I rescheduled because I wasn’t seen today? This PA then started to get an attitude when I said that’s not what he explained. The mistake was not mine, and I have the receipts in the form of ALL of my appointment notifications. Must be nice to just tell patients to come back and spend more money when they make mistakes. Not to mention the trip is over a half hour for me. Needless to say, won’t be returning. Hope I don’t have skin cancer. Edit: I had two pre-cancerous spots that required minor surgery. Go to Middletown Medical Dermatology, they’re fantastic.
Jedediah really cares. He tries his best to get to the bottom of the cause. He won’t stop until he’s figured you out and he LISTENS!! Also, I am a mixed woman and I feel heard when talking to him about my concerns! He even calls to check on me! That is RARE! I appreciate that so much! They went above and beyond for me. Also Hannah the nurse practitioner is and professional! Thank you!
