One of the worst sushi places I've ever been to. The shrimp and avocado roll is mostly avocado. Shrimp tempura roll is mostly cucumber. Spicy tuna roll has alot of mayo to cover up the probably day old tuna. Over all I probably would have gotten better sushi at a truck stop.
Straight to the point, I order a glass of house Pinot Grigio while I looked over the menu. I then see the board with the "all day" drink specials. I read "house wine $10 bottle, glass buy one get one". Realizing I order a glass of house Pinot Grigio, I ordered another glass. (Assuming it was my free one). I got my bill and saw that I was charged for 2 glasses of House Wine. I asked, are the house wines not buy one, get one? My server: Yes but not the Pinot Grigio, only the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. I reiterated what the sign said and confirmed that I ordered "house wine". I showed him the menu that confirmed "house wine". My server then told me that those menus were old and they don’t recognize those menus and the menus are wrong. I asked, well why are they on every table in the establishment of you don’t honor it? He said, "I don’t know, I only work here. I don’t own the place." I said l, well who does? He proceeded, "2 Chinese men, if i pronounce their names, you wouldn’t know who they are. My server and I went back and forth about the"house wine and buy one get one specials". There was no resolution. I basically learned that the menus are wrong, there is no House Pinot Grigio (mind you, I was charged house prices for my wine) and my server "only worked there" and "just followed the rules". I explained to him that I didn’t mind paying (which I did) but it’s just false advertisement and you didn’t solve the problem. Normally in situations like this, I would still tip. This gentleman gave bad vibes upon entry. I usually eat at Little Tokyo on Causeway (love everything about this place) but decided to give this place a try. I will not return. There are pictures/videos. Look at what’s advertised for happy hour and the menu. 💥
I happened to be in town from Slidell and wanted to check out one of my favorite ramen places. Sadly, this was extremely disappointing. The ramen broth was good, but the toppings were cold and made the ramen taste bland, even with spicy oil. You could tell the pork chasu had been sliced cold and just dumped in the ramen. The egg was completely hard boiled. My coca-cola had more flavor than the ramen. The customer service was ok. Dont recommend this place anymore.
I absolutely love the food, the service, the ambiance. It's beautiful to grab a bite here at night. The food is delicious and very consistent. I've been ordering from this place for years, Do not let the parking lot fool you. The food comes out quick, you eat quickly. They are very attentive, offer plenty of refills and the plates are beautiful. The staff has a very serving attitude and the portions are large. I ordered my favorite roll: the po boy roll, it is a must try especially if you are not a local. I also ordered the really delicious shrimp and chicken hibachi dinner. This place is a Gem.
I arrive here with a friend who is his first in the U.S. and decide to eat here. It was good and the service was fantastic. Atmosphere is great and more for who are really into the theme.
Tried a few entrees (katsu bowl and soba), so can't comment on the rolls. It was fine, definitely not bad but nothing stood out. The music was cute for a few minutes but over time is grating.
You would think because ppl are doing horrible reviews on Tiktok that certain establishments would be more friendly and professional to their customers, but not this place...I usually come here and love the food but today I placed a pickup order and asked my son to walk into the restaurant for my order because I had on pajamas. My black 15 year old son walked into this restaurant and Johnathan the Caucasian male at the front looked him up and down and instantly was rude to him and refused to give him MY ORDER without confirmation of purchase, when I walked in, there was a woman picking up food and he didn't ask her to see confirmation of purchase and that bothered me emotionally and mentally, I will NEVER purchase from this restaurant as long as that racist guy is working there
