Dr. Alan Levy

My wife started seeing Dr Levy years ago and at that time he was great and absolutely would have gotten a 5 star review. She does believe he was fairly new to private practice at that point. Over the years he as become money hungry and only sees "surgical" patients or those paying for procedures not covered by insurance. He farms you out to his PA, NP ect and they are just ok. He diagnosed my wife for Malignant Melanoma on her leg, she did the surgery and thankfully was fine, but he referred her to his PA's NP's after a couple of visits for follow-up. She had a couple more places that she wanted biopsied and they didnt want to do that at all.

Pre-op communication failed to truly indicate all involved. Post-op care was horrendous: unable to see a doctor, nurse just handed out a post-op sheet missing vital information for my surgical site, and nurse missed an infection. Also zero scar prevention options. This Dr and practice is over-rated, only offering laser treatment costing $$$ once healed. Only cares about the money!!

Did not get to see the doctor. NP was not familiar with my well known condition. Attempted to treat me for a condition I don't have with a product only available at her "special" pharmacy which hounded me by text & e-mail. I WILL NOT USE AGAIN EVER.
