AVOID the HEADACHE!!!! I’ll start off by saying my daughter has been seen by Dr Herman at Las Vegas Skin and Cancer for approximately 6 years. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and very good at what he does. The nurses are also very good!! On the flip side, his office staff is HORRENDOUS to say the least!! In my 6 years of dealing with Las Vegas Skin and Cancer, appointments have been cancelled without notification, practice location has changed without notification, billing and insurance documents have been incorrect, which took months to iron out. Getting someone on the phone to help with scheduling or medication refills is nearly impossible! In my opinion, my daughter has suffered many avoidable sinus infections due to lack of communication/care by this practice! I have been hung up on multiple occasion after waiting on hold for more than 15 minutes. I have been left on hold in excess of 30 minutes on multiple occasions. I have been accused of lying about an appointment that was scheduled because staff didn’t see it on their end, even with an appointment card written out by their staff in hand. I have also asked to speak to a supervisor on Jan 27, 2026 because the person I was dealing with was condescending and raising her voice at me. After being placed on hold for over 15 minutes, I was told that the supervisor wasn’t available but I as assured I would receive a call back. I’m still waiting for a call back and it’s been 2 weeks today. Needless to say, I will be transferring to a new practice. I will also be recommending that my husband and his legal assistant, who are both patients of Dr. Herman, transfer their care as well.
I would like to express my concerns regarding my recent appointment experience. As an established patient who was seen just three months ago, I was surprised to be required to complete new paperwork again. I am unclear as to why this is necessary when my information should already be on file. Additionally, my appointment was scheduled for 2:45 PM, yet it took approximately 15 minutes to be placed in an exam room, followed by an additional 45-minute wait before I was seen. Ultimately, I was not seen by a physician but by a physician assistant
Jason Steven’s - quack Dr! I went in June to see Dr Jason Steven’s and I had Medicaid. I go to another appointment (because he first looked at me for 10 minutes, no biopsy, just cream. And guess what. He was WRONG) they tell me I have a $350 balance. No bills, no phone calls, just a Dr trying to bill a Medicaid patient cash. I spoke with the drs/surgeons on the UNLV medical board. They said he wasn’t one of them…lol he charges Medicaid patients $350 for ten minutes of a wrong diagnoses. Shame, shame, shame!!!! Oh and it was very obvious the receptionist didn’t know and to be there either.
I had an appointment with the clinic nextdoor in suite c, the front desk personnel was rude and had a horrible attitude, very poor customer service skills.
ick a different provider if you can. They are very disorganized and unprofessional. Scheduled my appointment six months ago for a follow up. As I arrive, they told me they no longer take my (VA) insurance. Which is fine except they waited to tell me when I showed up in person. They made sure to send multiple reminders of an appointment but nobody reached out to let me know they would not be able to see me. What a waste of time.
Dr Kwan was great, but now my husband has had his follow up appointment pushed back and rescheduled twice now, so the eczema issue that was on track to be resolved is now flaring up again and untreated. 🙁 really frustrating
My visit today with Bonnie Kwam was a complete waste of time. Pushing me to surgery for a simple procedure is crazy. And what’s even more crazy is the attitude. It’s free to be a kind and caring provider. I would hate to have the type of attitude I experienced today. I highly do NOT recommend seeing this provider. Save your gas your time your energy and your money!
