Saddleback Dermatology Laser + Cosmetic Center

I came here for my AviClear laser treatments. I did 3 treatments - each 1 month apart. It is now 2 months after my last treatment and my skin is looking absolutely flawless. I am amazed by the effectiveness on my skin! I wanted to leave my review here because I am absolutely impressed but please know my results are not universal - everyone reacts differently to these type of treatments. A little bit about my history with acne - I am in my early 30s now but I did have success with accutane as a teenager at age 18. I was on the highest dose they were allowed to give me for the longest period of time possible. After such aggressive treatment of the acne with accutane, it cleared up but not for long. I tried regular facials and only using noncomedogenic products through most of my 20s which helped a bit but I always had breakouts. After a lot of research and consideration I did decide to go through with the AviClear treatments. Although expensive - i think it was worth every penny. I was told that during the AviClear treatments, I handled the pain well so they were able to turn up the laser past what most people could handle. This might also be a factor in why my results turned out so good. Other things I do that might affect my current results - i change my pillowcase every night, have a vegan diet, don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, and live a relatively stress-free life. Although I did these things before aviclear and still had breakouts often. The staff here was friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!

I recently visited Dr. Kim Tang’s dermatology office as a new patient and was quite disappointed with the experience. My appointment was scheduled for 5:45 pm, but I arrived early and completed all necessary paperwork beforehand. I took off early from work in order to arrived early to my appointment. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting until 6:49 pm to be seen by her. This excessive wait time is unacceptable and reflects poor time management. It seems that Dr. Tang is overbooking appointments, which is unrealistic and unfair to patients. I never experienced such treatment at a medical facility. I am very dissatisfied because my primary doctor had recommended this office and the reviews were all very positive. Although I considered leaving, the prospect of having to wait even longer for another appointment deterred me. This led me having to canceled another personal appointment I had at 6:30 pm because of the excessive wait time. I hope this issue is addressed promptly to improve the patient experience.

Tracy is absolutely amazing! Even though Dr. Benik is retired, I will never forget the recommendations from her that actually worked; Tracy included. I've been to countless dermatologists and estheticians over the last 25 years, and they were always pushing treatment that was universal instead of paying attention to my skin type and thinking outside of the box. I was skeptical at first in 2021 when I became a patient at Saddleback, but I stuck with it because the improvements from Tracy's treatments and topical skin care recommendations were immediately apparent. I Stopped going for 4 years after a move and I regret it. Found my way back, and I'm looking forward to getting back to my confidence! They're really doing it because they want to see people happy and healthy in the skin they're in. It's not just about money because their pricing is actually reasonable.

So bummed! Have loved this office for years but it’s changed. New ownership means long wait times, lack of response and contact unless it’s to advise the you haven’t paid a bill THAT WAS NEVER RECEIVED. Last straw … I’m done. Two Stars because I figure someone there is probably good at their job

Just had visit with several areas of concern. As always Dr. Meshkinpour was very thorough, straightforward and took care of everything, requested biopsies where necessary and within days Tami ( GREAT friendly and professional nurse) called with reassuring message that all is well. Always a pleasure visiting here…even with some scary concerns I know I’m in great hands and they take good care of me. Great appreciated … thank you Tami and Dr. Meshkinpour!

Really bad appointment system and non-professional staffs and physicians. They made me scars smaller and then recommended doing laser treatment. After two laser treatments on scar, the scar became bigger. Then they recommended doing the injection again to treat the scar. They didn't reply for the message about cancel the appointment, but they still charged non showing fee.

First, I was impressed that the facility was so modern and clean. U was taken into a treatment room almost immediately. Kim Phan was very personable and thorough. She explained everything to me in a way I could understand. She was very kind and patient, and did not rush through my appointment.
