Had an amazing experience here with my breast lift and augmentation!! I would recommend Dr. Salazar and his team 10 times over. Pre-surgery I was rethinking my size after the first consultation and Dr. Salazar met with me again to talk about a better fit and he explained everything with patience and I felt excited going into surgery. His professionalism and confidence the morning of my surgery kept me calm and relaxed. Then post-surgery his team, Jocelyn and Juliana, were a phone call or text away the whole time during recovery. They were very caring and answered any questions I had. I am so happy I chose them and would not change anything. Also my girls are beautiful!!!

Dr. Swistun is truly one of the kindest physicians I have ever met. He listened attentively and gave me ample time to ask every single question I had prepared for my consultation. I spent one hour with his medical assistant, Kayla, and two full hours with Dr. Swistun—at no point did I feel rushed or dismissed. He was extremely thorough and explained everything in clear, easy-to-understand medical language. He took the time to show me numerous before-and-after photos of patients who had undergone the implant removal procedure I was considering, which helped me realistically visualize my potential results. He also thoughtfully compared my body type to past patients with similar builds and explained what my results would most closely resemble. His calm, confident approach made me feel completely comfortable and reassured about the procedure. By coincidence, my hairdresser connected me with one of her clients who had previously seen Dr. Swistun for breast implant explantation. She was incredibly kind and spoke very highly of him, sharing that she had even referred several friends to his care. After speaking with her, I felt confident that Dr. Swistun was the right physician for me. I have had consultations with other physicians, and none came close to the level of thoroughness, time, detail, knowledge, confidence, or quality of before-and-after results that Dr. Swistun provided. I was in contact with the clinic regarding a revision surgery I was interested in having with Dr. Swistun. The entire process—from patient onboarding to communication and surgical planning—went incredibly smoothly. My patient care coordinator, Karina, was highly engaged, very responsive, and extremely competent. Unfortunately, due to recent complications I had in Europe, I was not able to undergo this particular surgery in the US. However, I am still very impressed by the professionalism of the clinic, and if I ever consider having surgery abroad, it will certainly be with La Jolla Cosmetic.

The level of attention and support I received from his nurse Jocelyn and nurse Michelle was beyond anything I could have imagined. Jocelyn was there with me through every step — explaining everything clearly, easing my nerves, and making me feel genuinely cared for. Michelle went above and beyond during my post-op care, administering IV treatments when I needed them most and ensuring my recovery stayed on track. Their kindness and dedication never went unnoticed. And I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ruth, who was such an integral part of my post-care experience. She was patient, attentive, and made me feel like more than just a patient — she made me feel like family. Every single person in Dr. Salazar’s office operates with such heart and professionalism. Even though my procedures are now complete, I can honestly say I’ll miss seeing everyone in the office. The entire staff made me feel so comfortable, supported, and loved throughout my entire journey. It’s rare to find a medical team that combines such incredible skill with such genuine care and warmth.
