When navigating to this Dermatology Center, Look for the 3 Flag Poles with a roundabout and Purple PTS Valet Tent out front. They are located in the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, and you should enter the name of the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute in the maps navigation. Park in the structure or in the parking lot outside where it says patient parking. There are stall numbers in 85-- in the lot outside and 3-- in the parking structure. The valet is completely free as well. Went to see Dr Linden, he was great!

I have had the same exact experience as Georgia from the review below. I do not understand what is going on with the referral process. I keep being told that the referral has not been processed, while my primary doctor says that it was already sent. Its been like this for months. If anyone has any additional information on how to solve this issue please let me know! 🙁 I don't like leaving a 1 star, the doctors are great! 👍 However, the process of getting an appointment is lacking and seems unnecessarily difficult. I know that there might be some sort of miscommunication along the way, but having to constantly call multiple different departments to figure out why the referall has not been processed without being given a solution is very frustrating.

Several years ago, it took 6 dermatologist to finally get an eczema diagnosis and treatment by a now retired UCI MD. Now I have routine appts every6 mos. I finally decided to reschedule my upcoming appt. as I have a strange rash that’s been abt a month or more. I began calling to move up my appt this morning. I’ve left my phone no. 4 times to remain "inline"for a call back. I have another 1 1/2 hours before the dept is closed. Is this reasonable patient care?!

Called to make an appointment. Myra answered and was not helpful at all. Calling some place else to see another dermatologist. I wanted to know if UCI dermatology and physician requested accepts my insurance. She told me I had to call insurance company. No other provider does that. All providers look up your insurance then tell you if what your copay would be and if they accept your insurance. Poor customer service!!! Also, she was speakerphone with very poor quality and I could not hear her and had to repeatedly ask her to repeat her questions. Invest in quality headsets for your employees and hire quality people who know how to check insurance and handle calls for appointments.

I went for mole check with Dr. Vivian Laquer. First they send in resident who doesn't know what he is doing. Then Dr Laquer comes in and she doesn't look at your body and only asks you what moles you want checked. I've been to other places before and the other physicians have a light/magnifying glass type tool to view your moles and do a whole body check. They don't do a thorough mole check here and I felt like it was waste of time. They billed 456.00 for a 5 min or less visit with Dr. Laquer . Then, dealing with the billing department is whole other story where they do not bill your insurance and keep sending bills. Reaching someone who is competent is impossible. Will not be returning and do not recommend you go there.

I recently underwent surgery as a melanoma was detected on my neck during a routine dermatological examination. My surgeon, Dr. Patrick Lee, is superb and besides being extremely skilled in surgical matters has a wonderful bedside manner. As a patient, you can rest assured that with Dr. Lee as your surgeon you are in the most capable hands.

The office has had my referral for over 2 weeks and yet they still refuse to give me an appointment until processed internally. I’ve called multiple times and get the same "office policy" nonsense. Apparently it is office policy to have patients suffer while the staff process paperwork.
