I cannot say enough extraordinary things about Dr. Sonja Campbell Johnson and her phenomenal team. If there were a way to give 10 stars, I would do it without hesitation. This is not just a dermatologist’s office—this is a place where skill, compassion, and true medical excellence meet. From the moment you walk in, her staff treats you like family—warm, organized, professional, and genuinely concerned about your well-being. It’s rare to find a medical team that makes you feel both completely at ease and absolutely confident that you’re in the best hands possible. But the real miracle-worker is Dr. Campbell Johnson herself. She is simply in a league of her own. Her knowledge, precision, and bedside manner are unmatched. She diagnosed skin cancer on my face, walked me through every detail step-by-step, and performed the procedure with such skill and finesse that today you cannot even tell anything was ever removed from my forehead. It is honestly unbelievable. The result is so clean and natural that friends, family—even I sometimes forget anything was ever there. That is the level of talent we’re talking about. She doesn’t just practice dermatology—she elevates it. She doesn’t just treat patients—she rescues them. Dr. Sonja is great, but the staff is horrible. I provided the receptionist with my new insurance information, and today I received a notice from my previous insurer stating that the office attempted to process a charge to an account I clearly said was no longer valid. Additionally, the assistant who assisted me was extremely rude. I also waited over an hour to see the doctor, only to have her give me a rushed 5-minute exam and then turn me back over to the assistant. I am going to find someone else. This is my third time visiting Dr. Sonja, and all three times have been disappointing, so this is the third strike.

Arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment. I sat in the waiting room for about an hour and a half before I was called back for my appointment. People that came into the office well after MY scheduled appointment time were called back before me as I waited and waited in the waiting room. No one at the front desk acknowledged my long wait, provided any explanation or apologized.

Such a disappointment!! I will not be back ! I took time off work after waiting an entire month to see Dr Sonya Johnson, only to be ignored and disrespected by the receptionist when I arrived. She rudely stated that I didn’t have an appointment and argued back and forth with me until I showed her my confirmation email and text. Dr Johnson, who witnessed the entire scene finally acknowledged me and said lit was okay to see me. The receptionist then proceeded to print off an old bill that was already paid by my insurance and $75 deductible's that I paid out of pocket. Stating there was an outstanding balance of $32.99 from 2023 that was not covered and I still owed along with an additional $60 in late fees. Both had to be paid before being seen.Dr Johnson finally came over and explained where the balance came from. Had I known that the balance was due to a deductible being unmet it would have been paid in advance. Dr Sonya Johnson was dismissive and unapologetic for her staffs unprofessional behavior. She lost a good customer due to lack of communication and poor treatment for such small amount.

I’ve been going to them for almost 4 years. The last 4 months they have not returned phone calls. I dropped in the office to voice my concerned and they were very apologetic. They gave me another phone number to call and that didn’t work. I had a person call back and told them I needed my script renewed. He promised it would be called in. I never heard from them since. I’m surprised they worked with me for 4 years and now no contact.

Dr. Sonya was great, but the business itself is a nightmare. I can’t even get a refill on a prescription, let alone an appointment. The office is impossible to reach. Phone, email, chat, no response on any channel. Stay far away from this place if you don’t want an absolutely infuriating customer service experience.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I’ve been attempting to schedule my son for weeks! Everytime I called I got the runaround and delayed and told they’d call me back. I sent my son’s referral via fax from multiple locations and it confirmed that it sent, but they never found it? Finally they allowed me to email it and then now all of a sudden their email doesn’t work? Sounds to me like they’re just avoiding our case as much as possible. I was on hold today trying to figure this out for 1 hour! I finally said forget it and researched another dermatologist in network and they found my referral in the system and scheduled my son within this week! I’m so mad I wasted so much time trying with this dermatologist who obviously doesn’t care to help children like they say.
