I am writing this review with a heavy heart, as it pains me to publicly criticize a professional establishment, especially one led by a respected professional like Dr. Kirby. However, my recent experience with his practice has left me no other choice but to voice my concerns and frustrations. Several months ago, I underwent a procedure at Dr. Kirby's office, which unfortunately resulted in complications. What followed has been an arduous journey of repeated attempts to communicate with the office, seeking guidance and possible recourse for my situation. In the past 60 days alone, I have sent three follow-up emails and left two voicemails. To say that I am disheartened by the utter lack of response would be an understatement. I am frustrated and deeply disappointed. This lack of professionalism, especially in a medical practice, is not only shocking but also detrimental to a patient's emotional wellbeing. The frustration is even more palpable because it seems that if a procedure doesn't yield the desired results, patients are left in a lurch with no way to contact the office or find recourse. It feels as if once the procedure is over, the responsibility ends, which is not the type of patient care I expected from Dr. Kirby's office. What saddens me is that I respect Dr. Kirby and his work immensely. However, this prolonged communication failure has overshadowed the trust and respect I had for his practice. I find it alarming that a patient's concern can be so easily disregarded. I am left in a situation of uncertainty, with no guidance on how to proceed with my condition. In a medical practice, clear and timely communication is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Every patient deserves that, especially when their health and wellbeing are on the line.

So happy I choose Dr. KIRBY for lip filler. A natural look was a top priority. After reading the reviews on Yelp and Health Grades I made a reluctant to move forward. The office is small but gorgeous and Dr. Kirby is extremely knowledgable and passionate about his craft. He spent a ton of time educating me. Unlike many other dermatology practices I've been to, Dr. Kirby focused solely on my requests - he actually talked me out of getting things I didn't need. And made sure all my questions (there we many LOL) were answered. My experience was nothing short of five stars. Sincere thanks for making me feel safe and comfortable with a scary decision. I've already referred two close girlfriends who want to learn more about lip fillers. I know they are in great hands with this practice.

Their bed side manner and customer service was amazing. This low review has nothing to do with how they personally treat their patients in the office or their intentions. I'm new to the area and picked this Dr because of the high reviews, so I feel obligated to share my experience here so others do not waste their $ or go through what I did. About 2 months ago I had a strange red irritation under my armpit. After 3 weeks of trying to treat it myself it grew into a half dollar sized red mark (so embarrassing at the beach) so I called Dr Kirby's office. They got me in right away. Told me I was too hygienic and asked me not to clean or shave the area and prescribed anti fungal & bacterial cream to put on it 3+ times a day. It got a bit better but then got significantly worse after a few weeks. They got me back in right away. They swabbed the area but told me it probably won't come back with anything (and it didn't) because of the cream they prescribed me (well, then why did they swab me?). Then he told me the reason it wasn't getting better was my bad hygiene because I didn't clean it and touched my nose too much (this directly contradicts what they said the last apt). They sent me home with the same exact cream and very thorough skin cleaning soap and said it will be better in a few weeks. *it got so much worse! I sent an email because they rarely answer their phone or return messages, but they called me within an hour of the email. It spread all down my arm and breast, I couldn't even where a bra! He said he had no idea what to do and will call me within the hour with a referral to a different dermatologist. He never called. I sent another email after 4.5hrs of waiting and they finally responded with the name of a dr to call. I asked if they were going to call ahead like they said they would to share info and my records with the new dr. They did not respond. The new dr got me in right away. They confirmed Dr Kirbys office didn't call or send over any records, which surprised me because I thought they wanted to help. The new dr took 1 look at me and diagnosed it as an allergic reaction. Though he would never talk bad about another Dr, you could tell he was extremely surprised Dr Kirby 1) told me he had no idea what was wrong with me, and 2) re-prescribed the same treatment after it didn't work the first time. I forced the new Dr to take a biopsy just in case, but the treatment he gave me is already working. After 3 days of the right cream it is almost gone!! Once healed this new dr plans to patch test me to determine what could have caused it so it doesn't happen again. I started crying with relief right there on the exam table! It felt so good not to hear "I have no idea" and to get treatment from I a confident dermatologist I could trust after a month of feeling like a discussing mutant. Though Dr Kirby's intentions are good, please be careful. If you don't get the results you expect, get a second opinion. Don't wait.

Loved his approach ! Dr. Kirby was very informative, gave me his background (which I already did research) and made sure I was comfortable as well as asked if I had any questions . A true artist for lips!! His assistant Maureen is on top of replying to any information you may need

I tried to call to make an appointment and was "greeted" with a rude, pretentious staff member. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but after waiting on hold several minutes, another staff member picked up the phone, and she was even more rude. If you want rude and pretentious service, go to Kirby Dermatology. Too bad I can't give zero stars!

I called and was on hold for 30 minutes before being disconnected. The staff is rude.
