Skin and Beauty Center - Glendale-South

Avoid getting an annual skin exam with Daniel Navi. He took maybe 60 seconds for a full body exam. For a first time patient, I would expect him to be a little more thorough. There are comments about other practitioners being more thorough so just book with one of them. Also, they had me undress down to my underwear in a room with a giant window that faces a busy street. I would’ve said something if I were face-to-face with anyone long enough. Weird experience considering how great the reviews are otherwise.

I couldn’t love Dr. Tammy more than I do!!!!! She is thorough, informative, answers questions, takes time to explain things and on top of that, she has a heart of gold and I leave feeling genuinely cared for. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and they’re rarely ever running behind on my appointment. I will forever recommend this place and I will follow Dr. Tammy wherever she goes! Truly an incredible doctor ♥️

The front desk staff is approachable. Cris and Tammy were wonderful. It was quick from assessment to the procedure and until my visit was completed. I did not even wait for a long time.

My experience with the actual dermatologist—Laura Chang— was fine, if a bit rushed. She seems competent enough, very no-nonsense, limited bedside manner. I had some pre cancerous spots on my skin frozen off. I called the office about 30 minutes later to ask a question about post-procedure care that the doctor hadn’t covered. They put me on hold indefinitely, and then when I called back the person who answered said they’d definitely get the answer and either call or text me. They never did. I think the fact that they have several offices in several cities makes the administration aspects really problematic. They seem spread too thin. It feels like it’s gotten too big and the staff is not well-organized or responsive. I’m not a fan of Skin & Beauty Center and would prefer a dermatologist that feels more like a doctors office rather than an unwieldy franchised business.

Great experience! I saw PA Tammy Chu for a full-body skin exam. She and the tech who worked with her were kind, thorough, and efficient. The whole visit took only 30 minutes, but it never felt rushed. I already made my appointment for next year!

So thankful this office got me in quickly. I was in distress due to severe rash on arms and ankles. Dr Bustamante was thorough and prescribed different meds than the ER and my primary DR. After 3 weeks I am finally getting some relief. I’m so impressed with her. Office staff is friendly and efficient. Great dermatology office!!

My first time in this center. There was easy parking and free. Signage was good. I found the office and was signed in with kindness. The doctor was timely. My needed exam went well and was completed in excellent time. I easily booked my next appointment.
