This review is based solely on the customer service I received from the front desk employee during my visit on Saturday, 2/28. When I arrived, I greeted her and was met with "Name?" without eye contact or any greeting in return. While I understand front desk roles can be busy, a basic level of courtesy goes a long way. She informed me I was checked in for both my Laser Tattoo Removal consultation and Laser Hair Removal appointment. When asked about the complimentary numbing cream, I explained that I was interested but would need to wait until after my consultation to confirm eligibility. She responded, "I need to know now if you’re going to do it or not. I can’t just give you free numbing cream," in a tone that felt dismissive. I even offered to pay for it to avoid any inconvenience. After my consultation, I was approved and received the numbing cream. However, during my appointment, the nurse, who was transparent and professional — advised that due to the color of my tattoo, laser removal may not be effective and could result in hypopigmentation. I appreciated her honesty, and we proceeded only with my Laser Hair Removal session. Afterward, while waiting in the lobby for my final charges, the same front desk employee loudly asked across the room, "You didn’t end up doing the tattoo removal?" This was embarrassing and felt inappropriate, as my treatments are private medical matters. I’ve been a client for years and drive over an hour for my appointments. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider returning. Professionalism and discretion at the front desk are just as important as the quality of treatment provided.

Another 5 star! As mentioned in my review for the encino location, amazing service with reasonable prices. Encino is my go-to, but stopped at this location due to availability and time conflict. Angela was amazing.

Great experience with laser hair removal. Super effective and the prices are the most reasonable I’ve seen. No clue why anyone would waste money and time waxing. Not to mention that you shave before so no down time vs waxing where you have to grow everything out and the more you do it the slower the hale growth and hiding your legs. Highly recommend!!! Alicia was awesome.

I have no issues with the nurses — they are professional and do their job well. My problem is with the administrators, who clearly do not know how to manage schedules or work with clients. This is not my first visit, and keep in mind: you will never be taken on time here. Today they outdid themselves. My appointment was scheduled for 10:20, but the evening before they asked me to come at 10:00. I’m not sure why, but I agreed, thinking it might help them. I arrived at 10:00. It is now 10:27, and no one has taken me in yet. First of all, if you ask a client to come earlier, making them wait 30 minutes is absolutely unacceptable. So if you are planning your day, be aware that you will most likely be delayed here.

I’ve only come here for laser hair removal and I can say it’s a great price and effective. Salon is very clean and everyone is professional. Suzanna is my fave!

I still have scars on my faces years after getting electrolysis here. The technician was hours late for my appointment/s and was dishonest with me. The owners and staff never felt a bit sorry for what happened. I left reviews on their Yelp at the time but noting was done. At this point this is just a cautionary tale, please don’t go here, very dishonest people. 11/5/2025 To New Look Skin Center. You implying that you cannot find my name is implying that I am lying. my first name is listed here, my first name is a very popular Armenian name. I am sure you have many clients with the name Armine. I have scars on my face years after your technicians work, I am in no way lying about this scenario. If my name is not listed, that is simply the bad work habit of your staff. You said we have not offered the service in some time, I have had scars for years. You all never even felt bad about what happened. I just want people to know. I won’t reply to any more written responses here. However, I may call.

I've had microdermabrasion done many times at several clinics, but none come close to New Look Skin Center! Lana is a sweetheart, she is very skilled and thorough! During the treatment she explains the process and also informs you as to what things are helpful to maintain good skin. My skin has never looked so good. I highly recommend getting treatment here, love it!
