The Dermatology Center: Joseph Lee, MD

While people at the front desk of this practice are "doing their job" they come across as cold and rigid and without appreciation for years long clients. Since Sona took over this practice there is clear erosion in personalized service, it does not look as a happy practice. Some hospitality training is urgently needed for the front desk people. Dr Joseph Lee is brilliant but this review is not about him.

I can't say enough about how happy I am with Dr. Lee! He is extremely thorough and takes the time to educate you. He's a rare hybrid of scientist and doctor. I found my needle in the haystack! His bedside manner is beyond words. I can't express enough how pleasant you will feel upon leaving his office! And did I mention he even calls you personally when you call his office with an issue. Dr. Lee is my (and I'm sure many more) God sent angel with a medical degree!! If you are suffering please go see Dr. Lee! And he has a great staff too!! I travel almost 30 miles one way to his office! Every single mile and gallon of gas is worth it!!

1st impression is the most important and They didnt leave a very good one with me... I waited over 2 months to be seen in this clinic for really bad acne that's painful a lot of the time. The doctor prescribed me an $800 medication my insurance wont cover and told me to read 2 books. I called to see if there was a different medication and was transferred to a voicemail and no one has yet called me back. So now all I have for my acne is 2 paperback books...really how is that supposed to help me? The front desk staff was also super non helpful and snooty like they thought they were better than anyone else there.

Love Dr Lee and the whole Germantown staff. However, the survey needs work. I think the question regarding what influenced the rating should have each item as a 1-5 ranking to better show which areas are doing great and which could use some attention.

This was my first experience with this company and the last. I am advising anyone to go here. They did not take me on time (an hour later) and I had to pay for parking which cost $8 for two hours.The representative at the front desk informed me that out of pocket for removing a "skin tag" would cost me $116 but the doctor wanted to go through my insurance. I paid my co-pay and then months later I received a text message stating I owe on the visit. Smiling, I had a feeling something was going to go wrong with this...I call their billing department conversing about the situation and ended up paying more for the visit. The billing department stated they sent a bill to my address but there was no apartment number. So how can you send a bill to an apartment with no apartment number? Now why would i not give my apartment number...this displays how unprofessional and unorganized this company is.

Dr. Lee and his entire office staff are professional, friendly and effective. I always try to get there about 15 minutes early, and I am usually in with Dr. Lee before my appointment time. Everyone here is terrific, and Dr. Lee is a consummate professional.

Professional. Knowledgeable. Courteous. One of the best specialists I have ever had the opportunity to see.
