I’ve been Dr. Zhou’ patient for a few years now and I really trust her. She’s always super nice and patient. Every visit feels comfortable because she always takes the time to listen and explain everything in detail! Besides regular visits, this was my second time getting filler here and I’m very happy with the results. The whole process was smooth and I felt well taken care of. Highly recommend Dr. Zhou if you’re looking for a dermatologist who is both professional and caring!

Hi! Dr. Zhou This is my second visit to your clinic. You have been an excellent Doctor explaining that I should go to the hospital if I have fever, cough or not feeling well. I am glad I followed your advice, the culture that you took came back bacteria infection and the hospital were able to treat me with specific antibiotics. The doctor in the hospital were in communication with Dr. zhou even after office hours. Thank you so much for treating and helping me get better. My visit today were were super with more understanding because I asked questions that I didn’t understand and were explain to me clearly and graciously. Dr. Zhou is the best. Will see you on my next visit. Most importantly don’t worry about what other people think of you. The most important is what you do the best for other. If they don’t see it this way then is my gain. And that Is your lost. Dr. ZHOU YOU ARE THE BEST.😀😀😀

Clean and organized waiting area, friendly and kind staff. The doctor answered all my questions. A great visit. Will absolutely recommend.

I came here for acne scar removal by laser resurfacing treatment. It was a total failure. All my friends and family question whether the treatment did anything at all and tell me to go get a refund. My acne scars are extra red now, more visible, and I noticed extra blemishes on my skin such as new small brown dots. I wish I had never done the procedure, and have been stressed by these new blemishes on my skin. I suspect this procedure did not succeed due to the Dr. Zhou's ill - advised advice that I can go out in the sun right after the procedure, as long as I wear sunscreen. Whatever the reason for failure, I asked for a refund of $1800 (which I paid in physical cash, by their request), and Dr. Zhou said that she would give the refund if I waive all my legal rights to sue for the procedure(including if i discover future issues). I was not comfortable waiving my rights, so she did not agree to the refund. If you are looking for acne scar treatment, I do not recommend this location. Acne scar treatment aside, this office is very sus. They give all their receipts by their secretary handwriting the number paid on a receipt form like in a restaurant. Overall very unprofessional experience.

After my 2rd visit with Dr Zhou,I was feeling better..Dr.Zhou is a caring excellent dermatologist. I will recomend her to everybody. Thank you Dr.Zhou,for helping me with my Eczema.

Overall very poor experience, the Doctor seems completely uninterested in patient's condition. During the consultation, she didn't even bother to check my skin, which is unacceptable for a dermatologist. When you ask her questions, she was indifferent and unwilling to answer, it felt like she was in a hurry for next cosmetic dermatology treatment, the whole meeting lasted less than 5 mins. Of course her prescribed ointment was not only ineffective but actually made my symptoms worse. I believe there are much better dermatologists available in the area than this one. The Front desk was ok and efficient tho.

I was first recommended to Dr. Zhou by my allergist who had suggested I consult a dermatologist for my allergic rashes and possible eczema. My first 2-3 visits were great. Dr. Zhou was attentive and focused on figuring out what was triggering my allergic reactions. However, last summer when I was facing skin conditions on my arm, she was fairly dismissive of my concerns and shared that I am just experiencing heat rashes. Any prescriptions she gave me did not help with my arms. I inquired about growth around my inner thighs and she did not examine and instead told me to see my gynecologist about it. I felt fairly embarrassed and uncomfortable being vulnerable with sharing my concerns in that moment and she seemed rushed with my appointment. Her demeanor was definitely different than when i first visited her office. I understand doctors have their days where they might not be feeling their job, but they still bill our insurance for the full visit and we can’t control that. Why should I pay for a full visit if the doctor saw me for 10 minutes and did not customize my care? I write this review now because I have found a new dermatologist to whom I have showed pictures of my arms from last summer (originally shown to Dr Zhou) and he examined how they are now and he now diagnosed my arms with active eczema something that could have been addressed last summer. It is fairly frustrating when you visit a specialist but the value and care they assign to you is inconsistent and no longer best practice. Please do better as a doctor for patients who come to you for care - specifically skin health care. If you are practicing in NYC you should inform yourself of the different skin tones and attention they may need.
