Lam Dermatology has been so easy to work with. Dr. Atakpo is thorough and knowledgeable. I bring all my kids here as well and they take care of their acne and skin problems.

Always the best experience. Love seeing Ivy. Quick in, quick out, she knows her stuff and always makes great recommendations. Highly recommend this dermatology clinic!

I had a little trouble finding it on Google Maps the first time, but my experience was great. Dr. Paul was very knowledgeable and diligent in finding me answers. The staff members are so nice. Marie was patient with me as I recited a laundry list of issues I have, and together, they created a treatment plan. The office is beautiful and inviting, and they are eager to answer any questions you may have.

The nurses and PA’s are very friendly and have great customer service. the front desk, however, is a different story. the young lady with the red hair is very sweet but the other lady up there is not. shes extremely unprofessional and pushy and seems to only care about getting money out of patients. i was on accutane for about 2+ years and the fact that she always seemed so apathetic made things so much harder for me. its a very expensive medication and you can only get it for a certain amount of time and it needs to be taken consistently i couldnt risk rescheduling. and there was never any manager or anyone to talk to about finances or bills or anything. even when we CALLED to make payment plans (that were accepted) she still demanded money upfront. like i said my experience with the medical staff was great but the lady at the front desk being the first person you talk to when you walk in makes the experience more unpleasant.

If you just need Accutane, this is a good place. Otherwise, find somewhere else. Vy Tran was my provider. She was nice but not very thorough and seemed always in a rush. Once I finished Accutane, she told me she'd keep prescribing my birth control that had been necessary for Accutane. When my refill didn't go through a few months later, I was told that she couldn't provide any refills without me coming into the office again, and that Tran wasn't available for several weeks for an appointment. There was no communication about this from them, and now I have to deal with the physical consequences of inconsistent birth control usage because there is no way for me to get a refill in time.

We had a wonderful experience with this dermatologist when my eight-year-old daughter was seen. She was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful, and made my daughter feel comfortable the entire visit. The staff has always been wonderful toward us—friendly, caring, and professional every time. We truly appreciate the level of care we’ve received and would highly recommend this office to anyone, especially families with children.

I started going there earlier this year and I really love Lam Dermatology especially compared to my old dermatologist. The staff and assistants are so friendly and helpful. My dermatologist, Ivy Tran, is the best. She is so kind and knowledgeable and has helped me with several issues including removing a cyst. I look forward to going to Lam Dermatology for years to come with my yearly checkups. I'm so glad I found them and would recommend them to anyone.
