Allure Dermatology

My visit was pleasant. Nurse and DR Magee were polite and answered my questions regarding some skin blemishes I have. Dr wrote me a prescription to take care of those skin blemishes, that’s where the problems started. They " fax" my prescription to my pharmacy. When I got to my pharmacy they never received it. Called back no answer. It was Friday so I had to wait until Monday. I called allure and asked them To re-fax my prescription, they said sure no problem. I even provided them with the fax number in case it was wrong. Went back to my pharmacy and still nothing. I then decide to pay Allure a visit in person to figure this out. I explain my situation that it’s been over a week and I still don’t have my prescription, the receptionist said we will fax it again when we have a moment. I polite explain that it’s been a week and provide the fax number again. Again , our techs are very busy we will get to it soon. I respond , I will wait in the waiting area until you re-fax and show me confirmation, receptionist answers" we close until five o clock it could be a while " (It was 1:30pm) it’s ok I’ll wait in your comfy couch, I got nothing but time . I have a seat and maybe 5 min later same receptionist shows me a fax confirmation and provides me a a written prescription i can take to my pharmacy myself. Hmmm how hard was that!!! pressing a few buttons on a fax machine or just giving a copy I can take over my self. Proceed with caution, they are aware i am a Veteran, as I was here in a referral from the Veterans affairs clinic and this is how they treat me . Hope your experience is better than mine.
