I've had only one appointment here but everyone was very friendly the whole time. Dr Groth spoke very clearly to me about my options and which would be best for me. Overall it was a great experience.

My esthetician Kristi Johnson with Schweiger Dermatology is exceptionally talented. She cares about her clients and I leave my appointments with every one of my skin care goals or concerns addressed. I would recommend Kristi to my family, friends and anyone who is looking for a fabulous esthetician!

Had a good first experience with my first two visits here. Then today had a very poor experience. I had time sensitive questions about billing (which I did not feel comfortable discussing in a lobby full of people). So I went to the parking lot and called. Sat on hold for over fifteen minutes. So I finally gave up and went inside to ask questions only to find the receptionist playing on her cell phone.

I had a very concerning spot show up on my chest and I could not get into my dermatologist at Health Partners until August!!! I found Schweiger Dermatology by way of online search for a private clinic that would take my insurance. Turned out that they could see me within a couple of days, which was so important in terms of diagnosis and easing my mind. Dr. Legvold was fantastic. She knew right away what my issue was and treated it immediately and easily. All of the staff were kind and professional. Thank you all so much for your wonderful care.

Mara is the kindest human being you’ll ever meet. She genuinely has such a kind heart and I feel really fortunate that she is my laser tech. She goes above and beyond for sure! 💗✨

Misdiagnosis.....A friend told me I had a skin cancer spot on my back and needed to get it removed. So I got the first available appointment I could get at any dermatologist in Minneapolis. I told Dr. Backer I suspected skin cancer. Dr. Backer was 100% sure it was a seborrheic keratosis. No need to do anything. I asked him if we could send it to the lab. He said there was no need to because he was 100% sure it was a seborrheic keratosis and they don't send those to the lab. I asked him to send it to the lab anyway. He said there was no point to do it but he would do it anyway. Four days later I get the call that it was squamous cell carcinoma. If I hadn't demanded he send it to the lab I could have had big problems since I have a chronic leukemia.

Went to see a PA at this practice for a spot. She was great, looked closely under magnification and told me what it was. She referred me to Dr. Zelickson for laser treatment. He dismissed her recommendation and froze it instead, which did nothing. At the followup, he recommended lasering afterall. He was super condescending when I declined. His totally unnecessary treatment cost $240 and he acted mystified that I wasn't interested in continuing treatment with him.
