Dr. Ide has been treating me for a hereditary skin condition for the past 15+ yrs. The condition is genetic. His understanding of the course of treatment has been exemplary. As the condition has changed over the years so the science and treatments. Dr. Ide has kept me up-to-date and ahead of the condition while being mindful of the health implications both associated with the condition and with the medications used to treat it. Dr. Ide has kept me off of the most (potentially) harmful drugs and managed by condition with the revolutionary new biologics. The successful treatment has kept me healthy and feeling great.

I had an appointment with this clinic about a year ago prior to doing long-term travel. The specialist who I saw was very helpful with getting me all of my prescriptions for how long I would be gone and told me when I needed refills to call the office to send a new one to the pharmacy, and that I wouldn't need to come in for a follow up since I would be out of the country. That day has come and they now say they can't send the prescriptions without me being seen again as my follow up was apparently to be seen 6 months after my first appointment. There's no way we agreed to that because we both knew I would be traveling and wouldn't be able to come back in. The receptionist who answered the phone wasn't helpful at all and just told me to come back in or call my insurance, both of which don't really help me to get my prescriptions. The actual service that I received during the appointment was OK - they just gave me a bunch of prescriptions that previous dermatologists had also given me so it wasn't the most helpful. Won't be back.

Helpful in the beginning but after continued visits and questions, the help got gradually more unhelpful. The staff was inconsistent with answering questions (different responses from billing, office staff, nurses, etc.) After spending X amount of money paying my bills, they started to charge me upfront for treatments at the facility without first charging my insurance, and I was given no written policy or written explanation of this charge. The most frustrating part was that I visited the office for X amount of treatments. Suddenly, I was told that they could no longer accommodate these treatments past a certain time. This completely disrupted my care. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I live in Oklahoma City and had a series of sudden dermatological outbreaks occur while driving to Minneapolis. A friend recommend I call Dr. Ide's office to ask for the name of an urgent care clinic that had experience with skin conditions, but he could fit me in to his schedule that day. The efficiency and empathy of everyone at Dermatology P.A. impressed me. They filed my insurance and sent two prescriptions to a local pharmacy where I picked up my order in less than 20 minutes from after leaving the office. Thank you for helping out an itchy and needy traveler on such short notice.

Phones are never answered, messages aren’t returned, desk staff is dismissive and unhelpful with even basic things like booking an appointment. My provider left and I was not informed. The provider I saw was dismissive and suggested a radically unhelpful otc allergy medication that is not even recommended for my conditions. The staff also gave information to me that was not at all what the doctor recommended. Also, I had a fever of 102 (during the pandemic) and was told by desk staff that because I rescheduled an appointment *2 years ago*, I would be terminated as a patient if I didn’t come in. Things did not used to be this way with this practice.

My doctor recommended Dr. Ide to me a few years ago after she gave up trying to manage my skin. He has prescribed a balanced and effective regimen and I have exceptionally good skin now, especially when you consider where I was before. He is good about understanding my particular skin challenges and also my concerns about heavy medications. They know their stuff here; very professional and experienced. I can't recommend them enough. They've had a strong positive impact on my appearance and self-esteem. I wish they were still in downtown Minneapolis, but Edina isn't too far for me, and I only see him 1-2 times per year now. Turn into the street before the office, the only entrance to the office lot is from that street, not France Ave.

I went in for the first time to see a dermatologist. I have fair skin and my mother and sisters have all had issues. I was advised to get checked. I told the doctor I had never been to a dermatologist (I'm 35) but immediate family has had issues. I was looked over for literally 30 seconds (if that) and then told I'm fine and there is no need to come back. Nothing explained, no information and I felt like I was a burden to the dermatologist. Terrible bed side manner I sincerely felt like I was wasting his time...it was uncomfortable. I had a really weird spot and was not even given the change to ask about it. It was a 2 minute appointment.
