Surgical Dermatology Group - Dothan

I love this dermatology group. Nurses are friendly, office staff is very accommodating. My doctor, Dr Patrick Nelson is absolutely the Best! He Makes me feel like I’m his only patient and I’m sure he makes everyone feel the same way! Today, I had two appointments. My first one was running an hour and a half behind which made me 45 minutes late at Dermatology group. I called them from my first appointment and told them that I’d never make it on time. She first told me if I was 15 minutes late they would take me but if I was later than that they wouldn’t be able to see me today. So I drove 50 miles (100 miles Round Trip) and now I’d have to come back another day. In about 5 minutes the nurse CALLED ME to tell me that she was able to change my appt time by 30 minutes so that would give me another 45 minutes (allowing me to be 15 minutes late). Needless to say I am extremely pleased with not only my medical care but also the very understanding and compassionate way the entire staff treats all the patients. I highly recommend this group!!

I loved the lobby with all the windows to see nature, it was clean and comfortable. I did not have a long wait. The staff was helpful and friendly. But most of all we loved Dr Patrick Nelson. He's a fresh and uplifting guy, great attitude.

I had to go in on emergency basis and they were able to fit me in that day as a new patient. The staff was very friendly. I seen Dr Nelson and he was great and his assistant was amazing as well. Thank you all for taking care of me today! I would give 10 stars if I could!

I highly recommend this practice. I saw Patrick Nelson today. His bedside manner is off the charts. In fact, the entire staff was so nice. Thank you so much for the great service. If I could give them more than five stars I would.

Patrick Nelson is very good. Always kind and reassuring. I'm glad we have him in Dothan. I only wish they would remodel the building. The service and people are awesome but the building really needs an upgrade

First time patient so first hurdle is paperwork. Their process was very easy and quick. Very minimal wait time from my scheduled appointment to when I was actually seen. Gave options on how to proceed and explained both the pros ans cons of them.

The staff is friendly and attentive. I have seen both Heidi Searcy NP and Patrick Nelson PA. They are very personable and always take time to answer any questions or concerns I might have.
