I was able to get in very quickly and the staff was amazing..I was over 15 minutes late for a follow up because I mixed up the address and instead of just turning me away Gwen looked at the schedule and was able to fit me in to a time where someone else cancelled that was close to the time I checked in. Whitney was amazing as well. She was very gentle since I was in a lot of pain and answered all of my questions and even told me what I needed to do if my husband had the same thing. I would definitely recommend this office to family and friends.

I felt like I was being quickly herded in and out of the office after my first time there for an annual exam. The practitioner herself had very poor bedside manner. From the amount of certificates and acknowledgements I saw in the lobby I was expecting excellent care and left feeling like I needed to start the process all over again. She casually dismissed all concerns and did the quickest skin check I’ve ever had and this was my first time having one in close to 15 years.

Nothing really special about this place. The front desk staff could definitely be friendlier, but my biggest complaint is that the dermatologists didn't even really look at my skin. I told them my concerns and they just prescribed things without really taking a look. The exam rooms are also terribly lit. I really hate the feeling of being rushed during an appointment of any kind where it seems like they just want to get me in and out, and that's what I felt here.

My experience at Denver Dermatology Center was extremely upsetting and deeply unprofessional. I made an appointment because both of my thumbnails were discolored and lifting from the nail bed, and I was worried something serious might be wrong—possibly even an allergic reaction from years of getting gel manicures. During my exam, three practitioners came into the room, one of whom appeared to be in training. After briefly looking at my nails, one provider told me, "Well, it’s either fungus or skin cancer." Hearing that without any explanation, reassurance, or sensitivity was shocking. She clipped samples from my nails and explained they would need to "grow the fungus" in a lab, and then began describing what they would do if it turned out to be skin cancer. I left the office extremely shaken, anxious, and with no real clarity. Two weeks passed with no follow-up call. Today I reached out for follow up - no one had contacted me up until this point. When I asked about my results, thhe receptionist casually told me they "just need to see me in a year." When I questioned that, she said, "Oh yeah, you have results," but then stated that she couldn’t read them and would try to find someone. She later came back saying everyone was busy and told me to call after lunch. No one called me back. When I finally spoke with the practitioner after calling again, she read my results with the same nonchalant tone and could not answer any of my questions. When I asked how to prevent this in the future or whether it could be related to my manicure services, her response to every question was simply, "I don’t know." She stated she would call in a prescription but provided me with no explanations, no reassurance, and no guidance on what caused the issue or how to avoid it. Overall, the entire experience was nerve-wracking, dismissive, and unprofessional. I came seeking help and left feeling unheard and uninformed. I will not be returning to this practice, and I am very disappointed in the level of care I received. I am seeking a second opinion at another clinic.

First of all, I know the owner will just copy and paste the same message response that they use for all of these but this review is for people actually struggling with there skin and hoping to find thoughtful treatment by a good doctor. I went to this doctors office hoping to get an annual check up and discuss some acne treatments. The doctors assistant was very patient and kind however the experience with the actual doctor was hostile, judgmental, and unconcerned. Perhaps she is too desensitized or having a bad day and wanted me to have 6 months of bad days but she immediately insisted on accutane before discussing the root problem of the acne, lifestyle and dietary changes, possible allergens, or even looking at my face skin!!! I told her I was uncomfortable with jumping straight into the most intense drug and she insisted it was the only solution. While I understand accutane is a life changing treatment plan for many people it should certainly not be the first option upon meeting a new patient. Beyond this initial jarring and rather impersonal "expert" opinion, mind you, I was naked during all of this, then I was instructed to lay on the table to biopsy a mole that was never described or pointed out to me. Turns out it was on my thigh so I had to ask to put my shirt on where I received a reaction I could only describe as annoyance from inconveniencing there tight schedule. All in all, If you want accutane you should go here for treatment. If you want to understand why you have skin inflammation and most likely hormonal imbalances I would seek another office.

I have been a patient at here for about 4 years now. I have seen all of the providers. Everyone is very thorough and to the point which I really appreciate. Recently they found a melanoma in situ and I was referred to Dr. Sundby's office for a wide excision. Throughout this process everyone has been so great and handled this situation with personalized care and urgency. Dr. Sundby's office was great also! I highly recommend this office for your dermatology needs.

(Overall Patient Experience = 1 star, Care from Whitney, PA-C = 5 stars). I rarely write reviews, but felt inclined due to the last several poor appointment experiences I've had at Denver Dermatology Center. Despite going to this office for multiple years, unfortunately over the last several months, the front desk and overall experience has significantly declined. During my last 4 appointments, the check-in process has taken at least 5 mins (my last appointment taking 20 mins... cutting significantly into my appointment time), requiring standing at the front desk while the staff checks/confirms any changes to your personal information and confirms if there is a balance on your account (this process and time seems still required even if there are no changes needed resulting in standing in silence just to wait for the staff to click through everything). Thankfully, I am someone who is quite organized with my bills and finances. The last 4 visits, at check-in, I have been told "you have a balance on your account that we need to collect prior to being seen today", and I have had to respectfully push back with my own receipts/details to prove that I already paid off the balance or have had to provide detail on my end to confirm the balance they communicated to me matches on my end. The lack of confidence with the front desk staff/finance department and lack of confirmation taking place PRIOR to the appointment has created a concern that the team/systems cannot be trusted regarding a patient's account balance. My fiancé separately has also encountered the same experiences during his last appointments and has come to the same opinion. I strongly suggest if you are a patient here or considering this Dermatology Center, to have your balances confirmed on your own PRIOR to your appointment to avoid sudden expectations to pay a, what may be incorrect, balance that may actually be much higher than actual. I have provided this feedback multiple times to the staff, and unfortunately with my last appointment check-in taking 20 mins to confirm my balance details through the manager level and ending up being a mistake on their end (quoting a balance of hundreds of dollars vs an actual balance under 40 dollars), which resulted in cutting into my appointment time and my practitioner then being delayed due to filling that time seeing another patient, I was unable to get seen after waiting another 40 mins before I had to depart to get back to work, with very little support/accommodation to get rescheduled to remedy the poor experience. Unfortunately, I am now seeking a new dermatologist at another local dermatology center, which is disappointing because I did receive wonderful, consistent care from Whitney, PA-C and wish that their overall poor patient experience did not have to result in losing clients.
