I do not recommend coming to this office. Front desk lady was unprofessional. I waited for over an hour. Seems like there is one doctor. when we told front desk we will leave, she was ok and closed the window. i did not meet the doctor. As a new patient, there's no insteuctions, a girl came after me and put her name on a sheet and then i went to put my name, so the girl was seen first. Very unprofessional front desk, dressed unprofessional, non existing customer service.
Highly competent Dermatologist. I've worked closely with Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons for almost 30 years. Dr. Kittay has the skill set of a well trained and highly proficient practicioner.
WARNING Absolutely the worst Doctor in the world! I’m here right now for the 3rd time waiting an Hour and Half to be seen. WHY? Because they ALWAYS SCHEDULE 6 people for the same appointment times ALL THE TIME! Not to mention they NEVER answer the phone. And they NEVER call you back whether you leave a message or not. DR. Kittay very old and unknowledgeable and unkind an uncaring and rushes with you, so I can never understand why they give the same excuse that he’s "behind today".. I have state insurance so Im pretty limited on where I can find a Dermatologist. And I’m so upset not just because I’m sitting here a hour and half AGAIN!, but because I drive 2 hours to get here and back from Meriden. Screw this I would rather go to a walk in clinic then come here again!
The front desk rude as hell . I call and hung up on . Call back got nasty attitude of you. Don’t like your job don’t work there . DR kitty great doctor but just lost a client.
I’ve had Dr.Kittay for 15plus years, Someone might wonder after reading those why he’s still my doctor. Well, for one of my insurance is very picky and I guess because I’ve only had to see him a few times during that duration. I haven’t follow through with getting a new one. I’m almost 45 years old, Farris skin, redhead. After talking to friends, they cannot believe that I have never had a full body check up for skin cancer. After my usual 45 minute wait(Which is sometimes longer), With not even Wi-Fi… I had multiple concerns that time. The visits are always very short, which always makes you wonder why he’s so late(Because he’s sooo many people at the same time), He was short, Kind of rude, Never really listens, And not up to knowing new things for instant 10 step Korean Face care(Which, for a dermatologist, you should know about). After mentioning it to him twice in the office, I still never got my body checked for skin cancer-But at that point, I knew I wasn’t coming back anyways. I have A dark spot on my lip that I don’t think he really knew if it was or wasn’t cancerous just that I could have it removed and stitches. I said that would cause a scar, And he said nobody would see it on your Lips with wrinkles.(First off a scar turned white.. On red lips, I think not?). He couldn’t even find my other raised patch over my eye. I finally told him to roll his fingers over it because you can feel it. He said it Probably another millia-which it’s be sized, flat and definitely not). I went to talk to him about a Specific type of laser surgery that gets rid of burst capillaries, which I have in my face-He just said that my skin looks fine and no reason for it. Pretty sure I’m the one that lives with my face and if it’s something that I’m interested in, I’m trying to get advice on, that’s the whole point, but he doesn’t seem to listen anyways. I never wanna wait that long for that type of care again. I would not recommend.
I have been taking my daughter to see this doctor(if he really is one) for almost a year. This somewhat fake Dr treated my daughter for acne, and really bad painful blisters, bumpy rash that breaks out on her neck every other month. I’m in the medical field, after my last final visit with this doctor (which was today) along with my daughter I grilled him with questions and concerns, then he finally told me the truth. He did not know the medical condition on her neck. Which was fine to me if he didn’t know. I wish he would had told us the truth almost a year ago that if he couldn’t diagnosed her, wasted my time and money. This doctor was rude had no empathy, DID NOT LISTEN kept interrupting me and my daughter, (You’re supposed to listen to the patient when they’re explaining their symptoms to a doctor) rude, kept on changing the topic, and prescribe allergy medication to a blistered, bumpy rash that appears every other month. I asked him to swabbed her neck to send the sample off to the lab to see what type of bacteria or infection is on her On her neck, but he refused to. I guess he was upset because I was trying to tell him how to do his job. He has zero Patient care skills. This man walk out of the room while I was still Expressing my concerns. He HAS POOR pt care SKILLS, HE SUCKS, and needs to retire.. I’m DONE!!
I had the best experience with Dr. Kittay. I recently made an appointment because my daughter, 6 years old, had a skin issue. Yes he is old school, and his office requires adults to wear masks to enter the space (ugh) but he was kind, respectful, and he persuaded my daughter to accept the treatment - she stayed calm throughout. He is the most responsive doctor I've encountered in the past 6 years. I was able to speak to him directly on the phone on Monday evening to ask him questions related to my daughter's treatment. When was the last time you were able to connect with your doctor directly for a quick question? exactly: never. I am surprised to see the negative reviews here - they could be isolated cases but my experience has been great. He is an experienced dermatologist and I would totally recommend him!
