I was told one diagnosis, then when I scheduled the treatment, Kristin, who was very rude, told me a different diagnosis and that I would just be checked again and then need surgery, also different than what I was originally told. She ended up suggesting I go somewhere else. She was rude when I was at the office the first time. I will start over with another clinic. I have heart problems, post stroke and a rare disease, so just getting there is problematic. And giving me the med they give everyone and a surgery that was never discussed initially, combined with rudeness, is not acceptable behavior from this nurse. I wish I hadn't wasted this time and money to be told 1. treatment offered would not be done, 2. I would need surgery instead, and with med I am not supposed to take 3. Rudeness from staff. And the tablet to fill out while the office staff sat and talked to each other was difficult. Help older people with these issues. Starting over with someone else and not happy about it.

After a stressful year, a visit with Jennifer Reichart and Dr. Natalie was the best self care decision I’ve ever made. Jennifer is an experienced, skilled professional on life changing facial treatments. She is compassionate and honest about what’s best for you. She is great at communicating the treatment process and explaining product knowledge for happy skin. Dr. Natalie is an expert on giving you a healthy lift. Her pokes hurt SO good. Her attention to detail and care for her work is most important to her. These girls have the qualities you need to trust that you will walk out looking healthy and not a Bravo Housewife. Go see them❤️

I have been going here for years. I always see Elaine, who does a wonderful job explaining the issue I'm having and the options I can take. She is straight to the point and I would recommend her to anyone who has concerns regarding alopecia or acne. She's been a life saver throughout my many years of stress and I can always count on her. So thankful to have her as my go-to!

As far as I'm concerned, they saved my life. I was using different concealers to try to cover up some brown spots on my face. Melanoma doesn't cover well, I found out! We Baby Boomers tanned -or tried to - before there was sunSCREEN. Not all spots are "old-age" spots, so don't waste time: please get annual skin checks from reputable dermatologists. Harlan Dermatology is the best.

After 2 visits with doctor Harlan and not resolving my small issues, I had called to speak with him about a spot he treated on my neck that has swelled up and is becoming very sore and I was given to someone else in the office who said I’d just have to come in for treatment again or surgery. After 2 treatments of a very small cyst on my neck and a plantar work on my toe, nothing was achieved besides making both matters worse and wasting my time and money when they should have been taken care of on the first visit like the other dermatologist I used to see. Definitely would not recommend Dr. Harlan or the dermatology surgery center.

Dr. Steve Harlan is one of the best dermatologists in Des Moines. I came to him after another dermatologist in town recommended we watch a spot vs. removing it. The spot was cancerous. I had a history of basal cancer and I want a dr who is proactive. He also recommended blue light treatment twice and has me using retinol products. He has caught other spots that look suspicious and is excellent with his mohs procedure so I don’t have to have large repairs. Go see him!

Always go and see Elaine! If you want a doctor to just come in take your money and walk out not even really be concerned for you then you can see Doctor Harlan....! I found a different doctor now and have a new appointment scheduled because my last one with Dr. Harlan was pointless! Just be aware..
