Took both my teenage daughters in together. The office is beautiful.. the receptionist were very friendly. Seen immediately after filling out new patient information. The medical assistant was very professional, the nurse practitioner came in immediately... was very knowledgeable and attentive to bith my daughters. A+++++

I have been a patient at Art of Dermatology for a couple of years now. I am diligent with annual skin checks due to a family history of skin cancer. For two consecutive years, I brought a suspicious spot on my face to their attention. They were persistent that it wasn't anything to worry about as I am only 29 years old. After failed treatment, it was biopsied and came back as basal cell carcinoma. I booked an appointment with their MOHS surgery center to have it removed. I rescheduled the appointment twice. Once at their request and once at mine because they failed to submit prior authorization to my insurance company for the procedure. After assuring me that prior authorization was submitted and I could proceed with the procedure, I showed up for my appointment only to find out that they submitted prior authorization under the wrong patient. They then proceeded to hand me a document with another patient's personal information on it. This alone is a HIPAA violation. I then sat in their waiting room for 3.5 hours while they tried to get into contact with my insurance company for prior authorization. During this time, I suggested that I would not be having the procedure done at their office after all of the added stress. They then told me that they would charge me a $500 cancellation fee if I left. At this time, I asked to speak with the office manager or owner because I was truly beside myself. The owner came to speak with me and implied that everything happening was my fault because it's the patient's responsibility to submit prior authorization for a procedure. I'm sorry but in what world? They eventually received prior authorization and were persistent on doing the procedure that day so that I wouldn't have to reschedule for a third time. After making the first incision on my face, the medical assistant came in and enlightened me that I needed a referral from a PCP in order for insurance to approve and cover the cost of the procedure as my insurance had changed with the new year. In my experience, that is something that's addressed BEFORE scheduling an appointment and making an incision. Dr Gottam, the owner, then called the PCP assigned to me by my insurance company to request a referral letter without the PCP ever seeing me as a patient. The PCP denied the request but was able to get me in after my MOHS procedure and submit a referral so that I did not have to pay out of pocket for the MOHS procedure which would have been nearly $3,000. Every day that I look in the mirror, the scar on my face reminds me of the awful experience that I had at Art of Dermatology. I do not recommend this practice. I suggest seeking a provider that cares more about their patients than they do profit.

I came here a few years ago for an emergency bug bite (over a holiday weekend of course) and the service was excellent. They took extra precautions to help me heal my bite. I came back recently for a skin check and I was amazed once again by all the staff members. The front desk receptionist, the MA, and the PA Hayley were so sweet to me. Hayley was very in depth about my skin check and explained herself each step, something I really appreciated. You can tell that this office has a great moral and staff. Will be back in the future.

Wait time is always pretty much non-existent. Dr. Temple is the best! She's in the room almost instantly after the medical assistant is done. She is so kind, caring, and takes time to answer any questions I have.

Please don’t go here unless you want to be yelled at by your provider for simply trying to explain your own health. I’ve seen Meghan Tobiczyk, PA-C at Art of Dermatology multiple times, including my visits on 6/20/25 and 10/24/25. Before the June visit, I had lapsed in my treatment because I was dealing with other serious health issues. During that appointment, I overheard staff through the thin walls sighing and complaining about me not taking my medication, but I brushed it off because everyone has rough days. At my most recent visit on 10/24/25, Meghan said the appointment wasn’t booked for enough time and that she’d have to step out and come back — which I completely understood. When she returned and I tried to explain what had been going on, she repeatedly interrupted, waved her arms, and yelled "STOP, STOP, STOP." I began to cry because I felt so disrespected, and instead of apologizing or showing concern, she sighed, handed me a box of tissues, and went right back to reading her medication script as tears ran down my face. As someone who has always had to advocate for my own health, being treated this way by a healthcare professional was humiliating. I truly wanted to give this clinic another chance, but now I’m genuinely fearful to ever come back.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I called to book an appointment for botox a month ago. When I had went in for my consultation, the PA told me that I needed 22 units of botox for my forehead area. My eyebrows are now uneven. My right eyebrow is higher than my left one. I have puffiness under my eyebrows. It changed the look of my face, eyes and eyebrows. I called her to explain to her what was happening and she told me she put too many units of botox. She wanted to make extra money off me by injecting me with too many units. A professional would know how many units someone needs. I showed them my eyes and she told me to either come in to add more or wait for it to dissolve on its own. I’m choosing the second option because now I am fearful of them injecting anything in my face. I called and asked for my money back to go to a professional who will fix the damage of what she did. They told me someone would call me to give me my money back and no one has called me back. This was a month ago. I have to now spend the extra money to get my face fixed because they are avoiding giving me my money. I do not recommend you come here for any botox service.

The office is clean and lovely. Staff are kind. However, I’ve had at least two visits now where there are issues with my referral. The first time it was before my appointment so I was able to make some calls and get it handled but the second time it was after my appointment and after I had walked out the door is when they let me know there was an issue with my referral. If your insurance requires referrals, I might suggest going elsewhere to avoid headaches. If you don’t use referrals, I would highly recommend their services.
