My Blue Heron Acupuncture visits started about 10 years ago. I had severe asthma, taking several medications daily and still having frequent asthma attacks. After several visits with Lisa I began to see remarkable improvement. Currently I do not take ANY asthma medications and have NO symptoms ( for 9 1/2 years!!!) Over the years, I have seen Lisa for other health issues, anxiety, stomach problems, headaches, and a few others, and received such quality care and professionalism along with great improvement of my symptoms. Lisa is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and the best health care provider I have seen. Her treatments have completely changed and improved my life!

Dr. Abernathy is an incredibly skilled, kind, and knowledgeable practitioner. I've been seeing her for over a year now and she has helped me tremendously with my anxiety and back pain! I can absolutely tell when I've missed a visit and I need to make an appointment! If you've never had acupuncture I can absolutely say it is incredibly relaxing and it works!!

I struggled with neck and shoulder pain for a year, seeking treatments from massage therapists, chiropractors and taking medicine from my doctor. It took just one session with Dr. Lisa Abernathy to make me feel about 90% better! As a newbie to Acupuncture, I was nervous but felt instantly at ease with her and our initial consult was so thorough and caring (much more than I’ve ever had at a primary care office).
