Who doesn't love Costco? I have yet to meet anyone. My entire family loves Costco for so many reasons. They have great and unique products. I have purchased laptops, tvs, produce, frozen meals and so much more. It's nice to be able to buy in bulk and save money. Not to mention if you are a Costco member you get a discount on gas. And their tire center is really good. I would just avoid weekends because it gets really busy.

I had a very unpleasant experience with an associate named Teresa at your food court while waiting for a single whole pizza order. After waiting approximately 40 minutes, I approached Teresa to ask for an update. She requested my order number and informed me that my pizza would be the next one out. After an additional 20 minutes passed with no pizza, I checked with her again and was told once more that it was coming up. During my total wait time of over one hour, I observed multiple other customers picking up their pizza orders. Teresa did not check a single customer’s receipt and repeatedly told them, "I don’t need to see it," even when receipts were offered. When my number was finally called and I went to pick up my pizza, Teresa asked me to show her my receipt. This stood out to me because she had not requested a receipt from any other customer during the entire hour I had been waiting. I asked why my receipt was being checked when no one else’s had been. I then asked if she believed I was going to steal a pizza. She responded, "Yes, you’d be surprised what people do." I found this response extremely offensive and disrespectful. I was singled out and treated differently than every other customer. I made it clear to Teresa that her actions and remarks were inappropriate, especially given that she had not checked a single receipt prior to mine. I do not believe I deserved to be singled out in this manner. I am a high spending Costco customer and spend thousands of dollars per month at your stores. In my view, this incident raises serious concerns about racial bias. Every other customer waiting for pizza appeared to be white Caucasian individuals, and I felt stereotyped based on my race. Associates at the food court should either check every customer’s receipt consistently or not check any at all. Selective enforcement is unacceptable. Teresa requires additional training in customer service and fair treatment of all customers. This complaint is not only on my behalf, but also on behalf of many foreign born customers who have felt disrespected, stereotyped, or belittled due to their race or skin color. At no point is this type of treatment acceptable. As a result of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business to the Burnsville Costco going forward.

This Costco's service has seemingly been declining, Me and my family had a very dissatisfying experience at this location. On our way out of the Costco, where the clerks who check your receipts work, one of the employees there did their maintenance stop to check our receipt, see if the stuff matches up. Now normally, we'd be on our way after about a few seconds, but this specific employee, stopped us for about 2 minutes, going through the entirety of our receipt and counting every single item between the carts we had. This was blatant profiling, as we're a black family, this associate clearly wasn't stopping anyone else as far as we could see when we were in queue. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. A few days later, after a quick trip at this location again one of my family members had used their membership here to grab a few items, and also went to go speak with the manager about this incident. The manager at the time (Adam), had been dismissive and brought up a red herring; pretty much saying 'What can I do besides bring this up to corporate.' Excuse me? We were here at this Costco's as CUSTOMERS. We are not going to ask you how you do your job. As a manager it is your responsibility to take initiative when a team member is lacking, do better. This locations service is very poor and we will not be returning to this location, if you are of color please be wary of this location, I've seen several other reviewers comment about similar situations. Paying for a membership for your receipt to mean nothing, and for your time to be wasted is unacceptable. Highly recommend going to Sam's Club over this junk.

People running the checkouts should probably keep their political views to themselves and maybe not bash the country that we're currently in. The family really likes the new gigantic cookie in the Cafe Great pizza 2024 Thursday busy but lots of staff to help Very busy on a Friday. Their restaurant food is fantastic Employees are always very very kind there

I love this store, but oh man. Talk about the rudest customers ever! They act like they belong to an elitest country club. People stop in middle of aisles, cut in front of you in the parking lot. Reddit is full of stories. But I do love the store!

I have had the WOST experience the Optical department. And it’s only Costco lenses. They cannot stand up to Minnesota winters, and crack. The employees even admitted they have people come back with cracked lenses - why sell a product that you know fails? They cannot stand up to normal wear, to cleaning with the solutions they recommend. I have had two pairs of lenses that have failed. Become cracked and blurry. I’ve worn glasses for over 20 years and these are by far the worst lenses you can get. Don’t be fooled by the low price. You will pay for it in the end. And the customer service is also poor. Would never recommend to anyone I know.

This review is for the food court only. You can’t beat the price, quantity and quality. The pizza has very good flavor of crust, sauce and cheese. The hot dog is 100% beef and the bun is soft and flavorful. You have a number of ice cream options and other food options. Give it a try, you’ll come back !!
