COOPER WRISTON, M.D.

Dr. Wriston is an EXCELLENT dermatologist. He moved from one practice to another and I had to search on the internet to find him! He detected MANY skin cancers (including small melanomas) on me and all have since been treated/removed. I wouldn't go to any other doctor!! He is co caring - helps find the best prices for drugs and/or supplies. I feel incredibly lucky that I found him when I did.

Took way too many unnecessary biopsies. I had seen my regular derm three months before and he said things were fine. Dr. Wriston just hasn't developed the skill to recognize benign spots and and would rather just start cutting...adding unnecessary time and expense. I found Dr. Wriston's overzealous manner obtrusive, audacious, defiant and unnerving. He was pretty condescending when I presented him with the huge scars he left on my face after they had fully healed--one of which left me so disfigured I need to now get it repaired surgically. My regular derm said I should have just refused all the biopsies but Wriston was scare-mongering--like well, don't blame me if you get cancer or something to that effect. Bad bedside manner.
