Had such a great experience. The ladies here are super sweet and really took their time with us. We opted in for a scalp treatment as well and my hair after feels so soft and healthy.

Very professional and friendly. They were evaluate my scalp and treat properly. My scalp feels healthier and my hair is so soft. Very relaxing experience.

Luna was great from greeting to during and post treatment. She explained the steps and we even had a chuckle with how loud the other workers were being that took away from the relaxation. Would recommend Although to blow dry is quite basic and nothing special. Your hair does feel soft and clean but would like of they used better products.

We were so impressed with Casey and her team! This was our first time for scalp therapy and Zen Scalp Studio did not disappoint. Our treatment started with a scalp analysis, which was quite eye-opening! Then a very thorough exfoliation, cleansing, and massaging of the scalp on super comfy and warm beds. This included a face, neck, and shoulder massage. Treatment was topped off with a blow dry, scalp hydration serum, and red light therapy in very comfortable recliners. We were so relaxed and pleased with the services. Highly recommend!!!

I am absolutely devastated after my experience at this so-called "scalp spa." What was supposed to be a relaxing, rejuvenating treatment turned into an absolute nightmare that has left me heartbroken and furious. I have long, thin, curly hair. My hair holds deep personal and cultural significance for me. It's not just hair; it's a part of my identity. The staff at this place clearly had NO idea how to work with curly hair, nor did they seem to care. Instead of treating my hair with the gentleness and respect it deserves, they aggressively handled it, leaving it so severely matted that even a professional hairstylist was shocked at the damage. In their words, they had never seen anything like it. The matting was so bad that the only way to move forward was to cut my hair. And not a normal, styled haircut. It had to be hacked away just to untangle the damage. The result is a terrible haircut that I never would have chosen for myself, done out of necessity to salvage anything I could. I now feel awful every time I look in the mirror. To say they ruined my hair is an understatement. They disrespected it, mishandled it, and showed absolutely no competence, care, or responsibility. No one -- NO ONE -- should ever have to go through this. I would never set foot in this place again, and I urge anyone, especially those with curly or textured hair, to stay far, far away. This spa is NOT safe. Their ignorance, negligence, and complete disregard for proper hair care practices caused me pain that no one should have to experience. If you value your hair, your dignity, or your well-being, DO NOT go here.

I’ve taken my daughter to several different places and cities for scalp treatments, and this was our first experience in the Bay Area—chosen because of a Groupon deal. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing visit. This isn’t my first time receiving a scalp treatment, so I have a good idea of what to expect. But the experience at Zen was far from professional. The explanation of the process, the actual procedure, and the products used were all lacking in quality and care. It honestly felt more like a basic hair wash than a proper scalp treatment. Despite using a Groupon, I was still expecting at least a decent level of service for what they advertise as a "scalp treatment." Instead, it felt like I overpaid for something that didn’t even come close to what it should have been. What made it worse was the pushy attempt to sell me additional packages at the very beginning. And to top it all off, as we were about to leave, the lady outright asked if I was planning to leave a tip. I still did, even though I was clearly unhappy with the service. This experience left a bad impression, and I definitely won’t be going back.

This place is very expensive, only hair wash with shampoo without conditioner you spend 140 dlrs is not worth it!!! if only hair wash I can do myself at home. The lady washed rudely to my hair and I did not feel anything her massage to my shoulder, neck and head. And I have to pay more for scalp serum 50 bucks for 10 minutes, but I did not get & feel the scalp serum in my head. After finished, she asked to get the tip...Oh my....so terrible !!! First and the last..no more !!!!
